I have stayed at many really expensive and high class all inclusive hotels around the Caribbean but because we were going to watch the cricket we had to look for a cheaper than normal hotel.
This hotel was excellent value for money and if you have the funds it is well worth paying the extra for a beach front bungalow.
There is nothing very plush about the whole hotel but it also has everything that you need. The rooms look and are a bit weathered, our was a family room and therefore had a fridge which was a god send.
It is in an excellent location and very peaceful.
The bar on the decking above the sea has swings to sit on and is just a great place to enjoy a drink or two. As someone has already said the plastic cups are not the best for having a beer but makes it a bit safer for all and you can grab a proper glass with your dinner and hang on to it all night.
The buffet restaurant is plenty good enough for all and did us very well.
If you want to go out grab a cab/taxi and they will stay and guide you if you want. It works out cheaper and better than doing trips with your tour company.
If you have kids it is a safe and friendly hotel with a great beach but not much else for the kids to do. The usual water sports are available and a free glass bottom boat ride is a must.
Outside the hotel is not for the faint hearted and not the place to go for a night time stroll, it is ok to go out to the cash point etc during the day but there is not much else to see. Dunn
