We have been going to the Helios Bay for 15 years, and absolutely love it - in fact we love it so much that we are celebrating our silver wedding there this year with 18 members of our family!
Nicos and Loucas have always made us feel welcome - the apartments are clean and there is maid service 6 days a week, for one reviewer to say the pool is not clean is definately not telling the truth as the pool is cleaned several times throughout the day as well as first thing in the morning.
The gardens are lovely, the reception area is clean and friendly - as are the staff.
The barbeque/Karaoke night on a monday night is great fun for all and the food is all home cooked and in abundance, and lovely!
The prices at both bars are fine with excellent friendly staff.
I would not hesitate to recommend the Helios Bay to anybody who likes a good time, the views from the balconies are fab you couldnt ask for a better place to stay.

We have been going to this Hotel for the Last 10 years and going back again this year.
The apartments are clean, comfortable, and everything you want is there or to hand.
The staff and owners are Fantastic, Friendly, and make you feel very welcome.
We have recommended the apartments to many people and they have agreed with us.

We stayed in a studio under the pool bar area which was ideal as we had our own sunbeds outside patio area).
We went to our apts when it got too hot as a nice breeze comes off the sea) and was directly opposite childrens play area.
The rocky beach was down a steep rock but hopefully this will be made into a path. However, beware - the sea can be very rough so not really ideal for swimming, but there are great rock pools which children enjoy.Ok onto the hotel:
1. Studios have bathroom with shower / wc, twin beds along with pull down sofa bed, kitchen area with table and chairs.We felt the studio was very adequete.
2. The swimming pool is cleaned daily and has a small section for toddlers / babies, with sunloungers and parasols around the pool.
3.There is a pool bar which serves breakfast & snacks througout the day.Next to reception area there is a tv and again a small bar area.
4.There is a childrens area in the complex with "Little Tikes" house, climbing equipment, volleyball net which my son loved.
Maid service every day, there was a washing machine & dryer room next to jacuzzi (under pool) and I must say we are going back again next year as we love this place as it is ideal for families!
Tell Nicos I recommended you, this is a family run property and I cannot fault it at all.
