What can I say only WOW!

From the moment we arrived up to the coach for the departure, service was excellent. The staff fell over backwards, we got married at St Georges Church and held our reception towards Coral Bay, and the staff helped, left flowers, fruit and wine upon arrival, more wine when we returned, and champagne the morning after!

We got quite friendly with some of the staff, took time to ask questions and show interest in their lives they are lovely people.

The food was something different everyday starters, mains and sweets all inclusive ALL DAY and in the club till 12 (pay bar until 2!)

6 of us stayed in the complex and the remainder of guests in different hotels. Not one had a complaint.

The entertainment again was great not as good but not a let down this is being improved as we speak. Still on all day and night though!

Had a bad a start arrived at half eleven got to the bar at ten to twelve we were totally ignored by very arrogant rude staff who said we had to pay for our drinks as it was twelve although we had stood there for ten minutes.

The hotel was in the middle of nowhere and it was a bit of a drag catching the bus and was quite expensive for five of us. We ended up hiring a car for two days to see more of the island.

The hotel was ok rooms clean but towels were grey and covers a bit yuk. The pool areas ok but toilets smelly . Food was really nice great for kids plenty choice we ate all day, plenty ice cream and fruit, I think that was best part of the holiday.

Beach ok but no beach bar open and no free water sports. My son stood on a sea urchin and had to catch a bus to medical centre it cost

Laura Beach - Paphos.

Not too many complaints but bear in mind this is another of a long list of comfortable, solid hotels that provide a good standard but nothing fancy.

The location was o.k. but may be considered too far from the main night-time areas for some - although 80cents on a 7/8 minute bus ride is not exactly a hardship. (A taxi will cost around

Although the hotel was very clean this is not a 4 star hotel. After it took us 2 hours to check in we were given a room over looking the car park, even though we had booked a see view. The staff on reception said they had no see views available, unless you were prepared to pay for an upgrade. After standing our ground we were given a sea view room.

Well I say room it was that small you could not swing a cat let alone put in a camp bed, yes I did say camp bed 4 star????. To say we paid

Hi just got back from the Laura it was our 6th visit I can't understand why there are so many mixed reports.

There were 19 people in total and 2 children in our group this time and not one had a complaint, even though there is still a little work going on the hotel.

Staff friendly as usual. Hotel clean as usual, couldn't fault food. As usual the annimation team kept us busy during the day stopping us getting to lazy which was good fun evening entertainment was better than last year.

Having live music in Neros bar every evening and downstairs in Amoroza bar mixture of entertainment i.e. cabaret nights, excellent greek nights and Mr & Mrs Laura Beach which if your willing to get involved are great fun. Also bingo and quizzes kiddies club also kept the kiddies entertained giving adults time on there own.

Admittedly a bit of a distance from Paphos but only cost 80 cents on bus but for us the hotel is situated just right we will be back next year.

Oh nearly forgot the new pool area is brill all in all excellent hotel, also we had our wedding reception at the hotel which we couldn't fault all in all 10 out of 10.

Luca Laura Hotel - official rating 4* - dream on!

This has got to be the worst holiday we have ever had.

Food and drink substandard, nothing exciting about the menu whatsoever so we ate out most of the time. On arrival sausages for dinner, food one day would be disguised as something else the next.

Hotel looking very tired and past its best. Standard of cleanliness terrible - bathroom had what looked like splashes of vomit attached to the tiles, discoloured and faulty toilet, had to request bedding to be changed after 4 days.

Staff very slow to clear tables. Queues for cups and on two occasions tea cups still had someones lips attached. Just a sample of complaints.

If you're looking for a little magic you'll not find any here. Sorry Laura but you just don't deserve 4* status.

The hotel was not very clean.

Rooms were basic but nicely made up by the cleaning staff.

The hotel pool was disgusting. On three separate occasions the pool had toilet mess in it and despite reporting it a number of times it still took three hours for a cleaner to remove the excrement.

Tiles were broken and men were actually fixing them while the kids were swimming putting tile grout into the pool and washing their hands in the pool to get the grout off.

The food was repetitive and often ran out of the most popular things. We ate out most of the time despite being all inclusive.

The reception staff were rude and failed to help with anything.

Ice cream in the Al inclusive is for under 12s only. If you have more children older 12 or above they can not have one. You can not even buy them, it's just a no.

The entertainment staff are just not interested, no get and go, just doing their job with the minimum amount of input.

The Hotel was very clean, rooms were cleaned daily, with fresh towels etc, and of a good standard.

Food was very good, and there was always something that would suit most tastes!

The hotel was a little out of Paphos but the local bus took you anywhere for 70 CYP which came by the hotel regular.

Bar staff and waiting staff generally pleasant however some reception staff were not always so pleasant.

Entertainment was excellent for kids, reps done a fantastic job with games throughout the day, and night time acivities for the children. Unfortunatley the entertainment for adults was disappointing, with the same singing duo on about 3 times a week singing the same old songs, this got very boring!!!

We did get married whilst on holiday, and would like to say the Thomas Cook Co-Ordinator done a great job putting our minds at ease straight away, answering queries, and finalising arrangements on our behalf.
We hired the Galleon Restuarant for our reception, and the Cypriot buffet the hotel put on was also excellent!
(Nice and private for a wedding reception if there a few of you, and worth the hire fee)

All in all hotel was very good, but Entertainment a little disappointing, but we managed to make our own Entertainment as there were 20 of us!

we stayed at the luca laura for two weeks on an all inclusive basis, we ate in the hotel for the first week, but did eat out the seconed week as the food became repative.

Our friends joined us for the second week, and the weather was fantastic. The main fault with the hotel is that was full of rude ill mannered children. The seating areas were always wet through as both kids and adults alike sat on setees and chairs in wet simwear.

A very relaxed hotel, and certainly not somewhere to go if you like the nicer things in life. Certainly not worth the rating it has been given. Again the entertainement was extremely poor, unless you were a child and like the "Agadoo"!
