We enjoyed a really good week here at the Movenpick, we had not stayed before with this hotel chain but will now be more inclined to view this chain in our search for further holidays.
The flights were on time the airport procedures all good and efficient, the hotel checkin very well arranged by FC rep/hotel.
We had upgraded to a bungalow room and this was excellent, lots of space and very clean with a private patio and garden area which was near a pool.
We decided to eat most nights in the A la carte restaurants, with the Shahrazad oriental restaurant giving you a 35LE discount per person of the price, with a starter and main course our bill was around 100LE (approx

We've just returned from the Movenpick following a fantastic 2 week AI holiday. It's approximately 200yards from the Israeli border, right next door to the Hilton hotel. We walked over to the Hilton along the beach and I have to say thank god we were staying where we were. The movenpick is set among beautiful picturesque scenery/grounds with palm trees and water features. It has it's own private beach which was very clean but had shingles along the water front. It also had a beach bar. There are 2 pools, one large pool with a swim up bar, and one quiet pool with a bar (not a swim up). We spent most of our time at the quiet pool, as there wasn't very many people there, so it was great. At this pool you also had better glasses to drink out of (half pint plastic). At the beach bar and the swim up bar the glasses were terrible, really small ones (like the white dentist cups), which meant two mouthfuls and the glass was empty . The hotel grounds were kept immaculately, with the gardeners working hard every day. The maids also did an extremely good job in keeping the rooms clean and tidy. The pools were cleaned every day. Should you want to go here with small children, you may find it worthwhile booking a bungalow instead of a room in the main hotel. The bungalows cost roughly
