A lovely picturesque resort with a great beach for adults and kids alike. Only on part of the very long beach are there some large smooth stones beneath the surface although sometimes the waves expose some shingle along the sand.
Plenty of places to eat and drink at very reasonable prices compared with some more fashionable resorts. Only limited nightspots for music but the young couples at our hotel didn't mind at all as the romantic atmosphere made up for that.
The shop and restaurant owners are all friendly and it is safe to walk out at night.

The beautiful resort of Agios Georgios is perfect for relaxing away from the stress of a busy job. There is a selection of very friendly tavernas and restaurants but very little in the way of other night-spots. It is certainly not for clubbers.

The resort is small and quiet-ish, but there a few bars and nightclubs which were fine for the kids (aged 15 and 17). The beach is OK but when you go into the sea there are rocks on the bottom for the first few yards, but swimming is fine. A beautiful setting in a fine, sweeping bay.

Very quiet resort. No nightclubs or busy pubs. They have plenty of day visitors to the excellent beaches, but they leave and don't visit the pubs. There are a couple of good rstaurants to eat in. There were always plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas.

For people who like a quiet resort and a great sandy beach in lovely scenery the non-commercialised Agios Georgios north takes some beating. There are plenty of good restaurants and tavernas but no clubs, so some people will find it boring.
On the beach there are water sports and boat hire available. As walkers we find the surrounding countryside with the olive groves and many viewpoints a real pleasure.
