Well where do you start, arrived there and the rep did not know where the place was.

On arrival the room we had in Robertos 1 was very damp, mould on the walls in the bathroom and in the bedroom, open the doors to the small courtyard and you look out on rotting grape vines with tons of wasps. We were lucky, because others could look out on an old abandoned camper van with smashed windows. Anyway a complaint was made to the rep who moved us after the second night in the damp to Sidari which is a much nicer place.

In all 21 of us moved from both 1 and 11 and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I can't beleive the last other comments made on Robertos II. I've just got back yesterday and I couldn't wait to put them right. I can't say anything about Robertos I, I didn't see it. But Robertos II was no problem. Yes, it is over a camera shop but that isn't a problem with us. It didn't make a difference at all, no noise or anything. The apartments were VERY clean and maids cleaned it twice in one week, they did this when we'd left also. We hadn't noticed them coming or going just coming home with the room clean. There's no damp. The rooms had a door with a vent, glass doors then a curtain accross. This kept the rooms cool, you could also leave them open but locked to let any breeze in. The balcony was hot, but we liked that. Isn't that the reason you go abroad for the sun? Get sum extra rays whilst the GFs were getting ready and have a drink. We didn't get one fly in our room!

I went with my girlfriend, my mate and his girlfriend sharing the apartment. We had two very nice sized rooms with plenty room. We actually rented a room on the last day as we had a late flight at the Silver Beach Hotel up the road which we used their pool. I'd rather have stayed at Robertos II. The rooms were tiny, full of flysants, too hot, tiny balcony and we were ripped off too and charged more than everyone else.
The pool and bar was nice there though. Very nice. We spent most days day there just relaxing. That was only 100m away from us, and if we went 100m in the other direction that was the beach! Perfect location. There was an unfinished building in front of us, which was a bit of an eyesore but not a big problem. Most of what you could see were the nice bars and if you got a room at the back of the apartments you could see the beach!!

With the doors shut at night, that blocked out any noise. You could hear a carcoachike go past now and again, but unless your hotel is situated 10mile out of town in the country side I reckon you'll get this anywhere - it definately wasn't a nuisance.

One other nice little touch, for familys or anyone really. Right beneath the apartments was the local doctors which was open quite a lot of the time, sometimes late into the night with a call out number if not.

As for the drains, Greece doesn't have good drains anyway and you're told not to flush papers down the toilet and put them in the bin at the side. This is the same all over Corfu and I think all of Greece. It was a bit funny to get used to but not that much of a problem. I didn't smell any bad smells and the bins weren't even outside our apartments, nor did they smell really.

I think whoever wrote the last comment wouldn't be happy in a 5 star hotel, on the beach in the Maldives!
I went into our travel agents playin up hell about our apartments before we went, waving about these reviews I'd printed off. I was assured it would be okay, and I'd just like to apoligise because they were right!

The location of Robertos 1 could not be better. Access is via a small churchyard and it is generally quiet although music can be heard from the bars which are literally next door. Less than 100m to the beach and everything you need also within 100m. There is no traffic noise as vehicles are banned from the road outside between 7pm and 7am.

Robertos 2 is situated over some busy shops, bars and tavernas on the main road within the resort. We saw many people being moved from there because they couldn't stand the noise.

The apartment in R1 was large as apartments go, with two bedrooms, bathroom and dining room come kitchen and a balcony. It was also well equipped.

Unfortunately, there was a severe damp problem. We were unfortunate enough to experience some rain in our first few days but not enough to cause the awful problem within. The mould grew remorselessly down the walls from the ceilings. From leaving the apartment in the morning and returning in the evening you could plot its progress. The mould contaminated our clothes and the bed linen etc. The whole place reeked.

You could tell it was not a new phenomonon because the plaster on the walls had obviously cracked, been filled and then cracked again and again.....

The apartment was completely redecorated whilst we were there but within 24 hours the mould grew back. The owner to be honest, was not interested which is why we asked for and got a move.
