I would strongly advise that anyone visiting this hotel should take plenty of money with them as everything seems to be an extra, the first sting was the 5 euros per day for air conditioning as we were there in August!
However the thing that I found most surprising was the two euros per day charge for half size parasols which I find an irresponsible move considering that the hotel is aimed at families with children.
The rooms themselves are very basic and the terraces and balconies do not offer any privacy from your neighbours at all and I mean at all!
The on site shop offers a small selection of goods and they are slightly more expensive than the the local shops, the entertainment is provided by the resident staff and not visiting cabaret acts and needless to say the bar prices are expensive.

My Wife and myself stayed at Cavo Bianco in July and August 2006. We found it to be spotlessly clean, and the facilities, the food, the pool and the entertainment were all excellent. Especially the entertainment staff.
Great location, right on the beach where you can find watersports and shallow waters. If you spend a lot of time in the resort, then you should upgrade to all inclusive drinks and save yourself a packet, it costs 105 euros a week, well worth it.

I am sorry but the other reports ,which are fairly old do not reflect how good this resort is for families. We have just returned from a 10 day stay at Cavo Bianco and this has been the best holiday we have had as a family. Yes the rooms are basic but the price reflects this. The rest of the complex is fantastic next to the beach and great entertainment all day and night for the kids and adults.
You will not regret booking this resort ,honestly I would go back tomorrow if I could !

We booked a late deal so we did not know what to expect from The Cavo Bianco.
On arrival we were happily suprised by the cleanliness and facilities of the complex especially the fantastic pool and beach.
Self catering facilities were adequate, we cooked a few times but we really wanted to eat out. Our only gripe was the drinks prices at the bar but you can buy all inclusive wristbands for 15 euros per day.
We didnt though as we found other bars with cheaper drinks. The apartment was cleaned to a high standard and all the staff were friendly. If you go between September and June, air conditioning is free but July and August are charged (it was a god send but we woke up cold at night ha ha).
There is plenty of entertainment for the kids and even though we dont have any, we could see the kids really enjoyed themselves. A review on here said that the families there were foul mouthed and rowdy, well it is hardly the fault of the resort.
I find you get people like that wherever you stay. If you travel with Thomsons, try some of the excursions, we went on three that were all top value for money especially the Albania trip and the Greek Night.
Corfu town was also a fantastic place to visit.
All in all a great holiday.

We stayed in a self catering apartment which was cleaned once every 2 days and to a high standard.
Staff were very approachable and always happy to help. There was a poolside bar which served meals at decent prices for snacks etx throughout the day.
The restaurant within the complex is an absolute must. Not only that you get 10% off your bill if you are staying at the resort but the food and service were ace. Could not fault it at all and the waiters were brilliant.
Entertainment was put on each night by the Reps which was good for those with kids - however it did get a bit much at times.
Would definitely visit again - we were on our honeymoon and will return soon.

Please avoid this hotel unless you happen to be on your only holiday of the year, have four kids and be unable to speak a sentence without a swear word.
We took our two children for a cheap break near the tail end of October and everyone else there did seem to have 4 children. Adults & children alike were foul mouthed and unruly and it has put me off cheap package holidays forever.

Dissapointed with the apartment,as regards to the kitchen (what kitchen) all it consisted of was a kitchen sink with two oven rings on the drainer and fridge underneath it which was not that clean and neither was the cutlery draw.There was no space to prepare any food and there was a cupboard above the sink with a microwave on top but you needed to be six foot tall.Kitchen equipment very basic and had to warm up my toddlers milk in a frying pan as there was no suitable microwave jugs etc .Our apartment had no lounge area either so you had to chill out on a bed and no eating area.

Our family thought Cavo Bianco was the best holiday we have been on and we visit Greece often.
The pool was large and very clean and free sunbeds were available all day - no rushing down to get one,we were amazed to find it didn't start getting busy until about 11! Umbrellas were 2 euros.
Staff were excellent, lots of entertainment and great for children - volleyball, bingo, killer pool, aquatics etc through the day and cabarets, karaoke, kids games on a night time, they were so friendly and deserve a medal!
We stayed in a 6 bedroom apartment - very clean, maid service daily except for Sundays, hot water when you needed it, great balcony, kitchen was small but well equipped.
Hotel restaurant was ok, not much choice but service as great. Drinks and food quite pricey though! Also not much seafood which is strange for Greece. We preferred eating elsewhere.
Hotel supermarket is not very good but in the resort - only a 5 minute walk there is a couple of supermarkets which had a wider choice and were much cheaper - also friendlier.
We would definitely return!

Very basic - just 6 single beds, a dining area that just seated 3 even though apartment was booked for 6.
Fridge was a bit grotty and kitchen was directly opposite a toilet. 2 loft beds were up a very steep set of ladders. Food not much choice and overpriced. Drinks extortionate. Staff very helpful apart although staff in site shop seemed abit miserable and surly.
Entertainment seemed to be aimed at small kids. Location on beach was good but nothing else in local area apart from Kavos which is not really for families.

Apartments were located right on the beach, which was great, but as for being in the resort of st peters - what resort??? plenty to entertain the family without having to leave the holiday village.
