Holiday taken 22July for two weeks. I had read the comments from previous visitors and was pleased to read that improvements had been made, but now I would like to know where? I was in a party of 5, My son his wife and two children aged 9 and 17 months. We had booked a 2 bedroomed apartment but when we arrived was given 2 connecting studios as there are no 2 bed apts on the site, so we was told. There are now safety gates at the bottom of the stairs with a lock but if you nudge the bannister the gate opens. The space between the spindles is still too far apart for the safety of children, I'm sure that if I had ventured up the stairs I would have been able to squeeze thro and I am over weight at 11 stones. The play area was full of broken glass, the soft play area is out of bounds when the creche is closed, even though it is parental supervision only. There is still the smell from the drains! The man in the site supermarket is still sullen, the reception staff are friendly, the entertainment staff are ok but the entertainment itself is what I call self entertainment as it is the children who put on a concert and then it is kareoke. We was plagued by Joni trying to sell us tickets to the Greek night, beware, he doesn't leave you alone. We had a few days of rain and it was boring, boring, boring!!! The whole area is untidy and the roads are a danger to life and limb as there is no lanes for safe walking. The restaurants are a much of a muchness, Yannis was average, I found the best was the Chicken and Steak restaurant, the variety was excellent and the quality and service of a much higher standard than the rest. I most certainly would not go back to that area but would go further north on the Island

I went to Cavo Bianco on a late booking in the last week of May 2002. I was really impressed with the apartment, it was really big with seperate rooms for myself and my friend who was with me. We are both in our twenties. Although Cavo Bianco is more of a family resort, I think it suits all ages with enough room for everyone at the pool and in the restaurants. The resort was peaceful and far enough away from the busy town of Kavos which was about a mile away, far enough to get away from, but yet near enough to walk back from a night out in the bars and clubs which were open still when we left at 5am!! The rooms were cleaned every day by a nice polite greek lady, she even washed up all our coffee cups!! I had an excellent time, everyone was really friendly and helpful and the only thing that annoyed me was having to spend twenty four hours a day with only one of my mates!!

The beach was very close and approx 5 metres from the pool.
Entertainment at the camp was very good, and even had a very good robson and jerone from one ofthe other camps, which was very good and the team leader who starred should be commended, even though one heckler was a bit of a handful. Arestraunt down the street called yannis was very very good and reasonably priced, with maria and niko the waiter and waitress being very friendly, and yannis the owner a very good cook. I would certainly recommend this village to anyone, I went with 2 adults and 2 children and all were happy.

I stayed in this hotel a year ago and i loved it there, the beach is near and the sea is gorgeous!! There are water sports to do too. I would most def go back there. The rooms are also nice mine was very clean and was very big we had alot of room.
Nice balconies too. Restaurant was nice food was also good. The staff there were very friendly i made lots of friends im still in lots of contact with Kostas the waiter and the barmen who is from england who lives near me. Made lots of friends and would love to go again.
The restaurants around up the road are also nice people very friendly. Although i agree joni doesnt leave you alone, he is a nice man though!! Erm what else if u go further into kavos into the actuall town there are loads of clubs thats all good too!! I would def reccomend it!!!
