The beach I personally found poor, it is sandy but is very small and not very tidy, the sea however is shallow and safe for the little ones.

Other than the hotel there is not much else, the town consists of 3 bars, 2 restaurants and 2 supermarkets.

Corfu airport: small crowded and delays.

Two lovely beaches, one has a lot of seaweed washing up so the other was better for young children.

Bars had karaoke, pool and friendly staff.

Two supermarkets nearby.

Ate at Lagoon restaurant most nights, lovely food friendly staff lovely views.

The hotel itself consisted of the resort as there is very little to do in the immediate area other than sit on the beach and have a drink in one of the few local Tavernas. The beach could be improved by being cleaned occasionally but the waters were beautifully clean and the gently shelving waters make it safe for children to bathe. The hotle provides a courtesy bus to the two neighbouring towns, Kassiopi and Acharavi which I would strongly recommend. Kassiopi was the better of the two.

The entertainment reps provided by First Choice worked extremely hard and provided fun for all ages. One rep even risked his life to save a woman who was washed out to sea during rough weather despite a red flag flying!

I saw no wasps during the stay and was only bitten twice by mosquitoes.

Some out of control children and badly behaved adults spoilt the atmosphere in the resort on the odd occasion.

I would not recommend this hotel to a couple wanting a peaceful holiday, it is more suited to families with children.

All in all a fantastic holiday

St Spyridon is a pretty small resort with three tavernas and a couple of shops. There was little entertainment to speak of but one bar had movies on every night.

The two beaches were both clean and the water was a lovely blue.

Water based activities were available for hire at the beach.

The resort was the best we have ever been to. The entertainment was excellent. Our children had so much to do on the resort which made them happy. I would recommend this resort to anyone who wanted to go to Corfu. A big thankyou to all the reps for giving us the best hoilday ever.

There is not enough to do in this resort, there were only 2 shops and 2 bars, except one is very good for showing all the latest films!

There is not enough to do here and you soon get fed up of the coach trips to the 2 neighbouring towns.

The surrounding area is lovely and peaceful and right on the beach. There are one or two souvenir shops close by and a supermarket.

Just out of the gate by the pool turn left and you will come to Tanjas Travel this was run by a young woman named Tanja and her mother Katty. If you wish to book any excursions then you must use them they are very friendly and helpful and I would highly recommend their services especially as they are about half the price of First Choice excurscions and they will explain the trips and what they entail better than first choice do.

Just past there is a beautiful walk over a bridge and follow an old cart track and it will lead you to Acharavi beach which stretches for miles with spectacular views.

Just past Tanjas travel is the only nightclub that is there called Valentino with large screen tv and a friendly atmosphere.

The resort is lovely we didnt get chance to see most of it but I am sure if you take the time you will find lots of lovely little tavernas and the nightlife is nice with dancers and street entertainers.

Middle of nowhere. Fantastic views across to Albania. Resort and surrounding area very green and well-maintained. Large nature reserve beside the resort. We enjoyed feeding the fish. Two beaches - one to the right quite small, very stony and sea-weedy. One to the left is very shallow and sandy. Pedaloes are available for 10-13 euros per hour. Not free as the brochure states! What a shame. We did see Ringoes, but not sure where they came from. No other watersports were available.

The beach is great, clean and safe for the kids. There are only a couple of bars etc but they were really good and looked after you.
