The Albergo Del Senato will always be a place of Magnificent Memories for us.

We stayed for one week from 27th April to celebrate our Silver Wedding Anniversay and it was everything we hoped for.... and more!

The staff of the ADS are a major asset to this establishment, where nothing is too much trouble.

The professionalism is excellent and yet it is precisely combined with a personal friendliness that has made us feel that we have left old friends in Roma. To Luca, (our first point of contact when booking) Maria Laura (who greeted us on arrival and was there for the sad arrivederce too:( Mauro who recommended our most favourite restaurant Costanza & Michele ( pronounced ma-gelli:) a great barman whose company we enjoyed in the evenings - to these people in particular, and to all the staff in general, we thank you all for a wonderful stay at the hotel.

The cleanliness is first class, the room we had (405) was perfect, with added luxuries like the room being 'turned down' in the evening etc and it looks directly out to the Pantheon and Piazza Della Rotonda.

It was incredibe how silent the room became when the windows were closed, although we loved this atmosphere and only closed the windows to sleep at night and by that time the Piazza is very quiet.

The service in the breakfast room was excellent and the food delicious and plentiful. It was a pity the roof garden was not opened but we did get wonderful photographs taken up there. The weather was not ideal for the roof garden during this week so thats understandable.

It goes without saying we would recommend the ADS to anyone wanting that something special and the fact that it is convenient to walk to all tourist attractions in a short time - once you get to terms with the map:)

Yes! this hotel has left us with Magnificent Memories and one day perhaps we will be privileged to return.

In general we found the hospitality of Romans tremendous:)
