We booked this hotel ourselves through the hotel website on the internet back in February and were very pleased indeed when we arrived. We stayed for 2 weeks from 21.07.06, two adults and a child of 4.
The hotel is absolutely spotless, small, bright & modern with a very homely feel. It has 26 rooms which is great as there is always a friendly atmosphere between the staff and the other guests and always room at the spotless pool.
Our room was quite small for the 3 of us - it would have been better for 2 adults only - but it was modern, bright& very clean with a balcony. Our room was cleaned daily and we were provided with fresh towels daily.
The hotel is set back from the beach by about 20 meters on a quiet street looking onto other hotels - its hasn't got a clear unbroken view of the beach & sea which we didn't mind as the pool was so good.
The food was absolutely delicious - freshly prepared every day and beautifully presented. Buffet breakfast on the terrace from 7.30 to 9.30am with plenty to choose from -you could also order eggs & bacon, scrambled, boiled etc.
Dinner was served to your table by the waiter in the restaurant from 7.30 to 8.30. - 5 courses, fresh salad buffet, then starter,then pasta dish, then meat or fish dish, then desert. I could not fault the food at all it really was of a very high standard and the menu was never the same the whole 2 weeks we stayed.
All the staff were brilliant,the receptionists, waiters, night porter, chef and housekeepers - all were very busy but always genuinely friendly and willing to help with anything.
Entertainment was limited - a meal by the pool twice when we stayed which was served to your table. Cocktails before dinner twice compliments of the hotel and an water aerobics class in the pool on two afternoons.
