The Hotel Mirachoro Praia in our opinion is a 4 star hotel with 2 star service.
We spent 2 weeks there in Sept and the pool area and stairways were not cleaned once, the restaurant was awful the tables were not cleared and several times we had to clear dirty plates etc from the table to sit down. Then the buffet bar would be half empty we had to ask for dishes to be restocked, the menu is repeated weekly and is not good. We ate out all the second week as the restaurant was too much hassle, there are some lovely restaurants to eat in locally and reasonably priced.
The staff at this hotel never smile, they completely ignore you if your waiting at the bar, and you are made to feel if you want any thing that your being a nuisance. The hotel itself is very good the rooms are nice it

We enjoyed our stay at the Mirachoro Praia which was extremely clean, very relaxing and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
The location of this hotel is ideal for a quiet relaxing holiday close to numerous bars and restaurants, we would definitely go back to this hotel as it caters mainly for adults

This was my second stay at this hotel I mainly went for plenty of rest.
It does not cater for children that is why I go there.
The food is a lot to be desired but I found it was cheap to eat out.
I found the staff to be very freindly and helpful.
I recommend this hotel to anyone who enjoys peace and quiet away from screaming children.

This hotel is diabolical! The only good thing about it is the high tech lifts. We booked a specific suite in May only to be told on arrival the suite had been changed without informing us to a smaller one. The breakfast has a Butlins mentality. During our week stay (only after checking other hotels to see if we could move out) the staff never broke into a smile. They are sullen and unhelpful. The finish of the hotel is extremely poor. There are already cracks appearing and the pool has repair marks already. The baby pool was not full apart from one day (there is a large crack around the side of it) and the Leisure Centre, I understand is advertised in brochures, does not exist yet. The pool bar is in existence but is never open. The location is good as you do not need a taxi to go for a meal or to reach the beach. The hotel is full but most are people allocated on arrival. Nightmare!
