I like it. Most rooms have a sea view, the higher you go the better itd be. Youll have to walk uphill. As youd expect. Its worth it.

Rooms that are pool facing. All the restaurants we tried were very good.
There aren’t any water parks in the resort apart from the one in the large hotel for hotel guests.

The resort of Portinax is in our opinion a little tired and in need of money being spent on it. The smelly drains were particularly bad. The beach is quite small but pretty, though I'm not sure I would have wanted to drag myself down there with lilos, beach towels etc to spend the day on the beach. The scenery and the sunsets were really pretty. The bus can easily be caught into Ibiza Town, a journey of approx 30mins, from there you can get buses to other areas of the island if you so wish. A one way trip for 3 cost approx £7, children over 5 are charged full fare. The bus stop is on the main road in Portinax, but they run quite infrequently so there can be quite a queque so you may find yourself standing all the way.

The beach is brilliant for kids as the sea is very clear and the beach shelves gently down, keeping it shallow for kids to play in. We enjoyed it as it was quiet, which is what we wanted, but there was just enough restaurants and bars. I would say it would appeal to mainly families with young children, like ourselves.

Cleanliness of resort is good, end of the season so very quiet. Beach is picturesque with a good supply of sunbeds,a nice bay for lounging in the sun.

Small.Two beaches, shallow water,clear sea lost of fish, sunbeds expensive. Did not cleen beach whole two weeks full of seaweed.
You reach the square via a wooden walkway on the beach.
A handfull of small shops most closed already when we arrived on the 15th rest closing down when left on the 29th.
Pharmacy only open untill 1pm daily.
Dell boys and Vincents bar are a must only two good bars to go to.Vincents, the best, closed end of first week so left us with one good bar.
Shop at Roses next to dell boys nice fresh bread ect.
Bus service ran winter timetable limited.
There's quiet and quiet this place was dead.
Very pretty bay but thats all.
Would we go again.No.

Portinatx is a delightful place with wonderful people. Boozy Buys is the best place to go for a decently priced drink and all the help you could need. Buy here all your booze to take home....Much cheaper than ANYWHERE, even airport! Exchange rate was best around too so apart from eating there really is no reason to go anywhere else. Oh and to eat go to Jardin Del Mar. Fantastic views and wonderful food.

A small quiet resort which is fine for us 3 fairly nice beaches safe for swimmimg ,take some bread to feed the fish ! a few trinket shops and supermarkets, very pretty with the pine covered mountains surrounding it. but i would imagine if you want a bit more in the way of nightlife then this isn't the place for you

We both loved Portinax, shops everywhere, Vincents bar was great fun, also a couple of the others, we walked quite a bit so we saw the lovely views over the bay and countryside, people seemed to be friendly enough, found a few english people working over there.

i think you need to be fairly fit because of steep hills,not mutch to do but nice beach.

The resort is quiet with a few bars and restaurants which was exactly what we wanted. The beaches are beautiful, especially the smaller beach which has a beautiful slow sloping sea, you can go out quite some way before it becomes deep, which is great for families with young children. Also the pedalos where half the price of those on the main beach in front of the El Greco Hotel.
I would definately come back to this area again.
