We stayed on the first floor very clean, not too much noise.
The food was nice and fresh they tried their best to cater for everybody.
A walk to the beach but nice if my 3 year old can do it with a heavy plaster on arm and its a heatwave over 100 anyone can.
Staff nice and friendly good with children. Night time ok can get very busy early in main bar so we went to smaller one very good enjoyed it.

Just returned from the Hotel Saturno. We found the hotel quite clean and we saw many staff always going around cleaning and sweeping.The hotel reception was dark old fashioned and the furniture smelt and looked shabby. The hotel food was typically english , very bland eating in the restaurants were like eating in a cattle market, noisey unruly children made meal times unbearable. The food was horrid. Chips,salad and pasta , and stews. !! We ate out 5 nights out of 7.The location of the hotel was out of town, we could only think it was to keep the common folk out of Alcudia. Luckily taxis were cheap and the walk to the town was ok if you wore flat shoes. Hotel entertainment was like Butlins .We definetly will not return to this hotel or a cosmos package again. Alcudia is a lovely resort shame about the hotel saturno.

Wosrt All Inclusive holiday ever!!!!!!The food was appalling,i know All Inclusive food is generally very basic but it should at least have some taste and be edible,if your looking to lose weight then this is the place for you!!!!!
The hotel with its lifts that take forever to work and machines that all over the complex have broken down was really beyond words!!!
Felt like i was in an episode of Eastenders and it was quite scary at times!!!!if i had 4 tatoos on each arm i may of felt at home!!!The rooms where not cleaned properly each day and the rooms where so small that we had to live out of suitcases for the 11 night stay!!
Location was okay,this and the pools was the only plus point of the hotel,staff werent interested and the entertainment was very second rate!!!!
To quote from rock band the Eagles i and my family will go back to this hotel"When Hell Freezes Over"!!!!!

Just returned from the Hotel Saturno wanted to reassure those who of you who have saved all year for your holiday, its fine. The food was very nice, breakfast lovely and yes there are a lot of chips but there are other options too.I'd recommend the salad bar! If you decide to eat out for a change the Britannia Pub opposite is excellent. The lifts are a bit of a problem but what the hell chill out your on holiday! We were on the 10th floor and never waited that long for a lift. The entertainment is very Butlins style but the shows put on at night are very professional and the bingo prize money is excellent, not that I ever won. The hotel is very busy but if you look into this before you go you will know that this is a very large complex so thats to be expected. I never found that the drinks were watered down in fact I would say it was the opposite. As for badly behaved children, I never encountered any, however I would say that this was the responsibility of the parents hardly the hotels fault!My teenager daughter had a fantastic time hanging out with friends and security guards patrol the complex to ensure they are not getting into too much trouble. The only reason I wouldn't return is that the prices in Majorca have gone through the roof,

After arriving in alcudia for the first time with our family, we were taken to the jupiter hotel & arrived at 12-30am.After checking in we asked if there were any light refreshments available to which the staff pointed to the hotel vending machines or the bars across the road.
My first impression of the staff was not good!We went up to our rooms & were greeted with rabbit hutches!!We were fast going off the jupiter & had only been in the place for 1 hour.The next day was the start of 2 weeks of hell.The hotel is not the best for hygiene, the staff are not interested when you complain, the reps for first choice are just the same when approached with a complaint,the food is not bad,but during our second week we noticed these little creatures joining us for meals ( cockcroaches) it did make us laugh thou as it just sumed up the holiday.
If i had to sum this hotel up i would say that if you like living out of your suitcase literally,dont mind your bathroom not being cleaned thoroughly, dont mind creepy"s having a meal with you, are prepared for miserable staff on a daily basis,like foul language off youngsters round the pool & if your as unlucky as we were to get a room over the kitchens & be woken up at 2-30am til approx 4-00am everyday by the dustbin trucks then hey this is the perfect holiday for you. All thats left to say is that we have had some fantastic holidays over the years & can honestly say have never had a bad one until going to the jupiter in alcudia to which we will never recommend to anyone & will not be visiting again.Ps as my husband said of the three sister hotels Jupiter, Saturno, & Marte they are named correctly because they have no atmosphere!!!

i disagree with the comments made by some people about this hotel.
I have just come back off a week's holiday and i enjoyed every minute of it.Where to start
the rooms were rather small but they all had a tele and they were extremely clean.The maids came every day and worked extremely hard
the food was substantial there was nothing spectacular but everything was still edible and there was food for every age group available.
The entertainment was brilliant there was activities organised throughout the day for both children and adults.
The hotel is about 2 minutes away from the local pubs and supermarkets and about a 10-15 min walk away from alcudia itself.
All the entertainment is light hearted and fun for all with kids dances first then bingo then some entertainment organised by the reps this entertainment wasnt excellent i admit but at the end of the day it was still enjoyable.
All the entertainment finishes at 12 and the bars close then so there is no noise apart from a few people who sit out continuing to enjoy themselves but they are on holiday after all!
The pool was cleaned each night and all the surfaces and beds were power washed i can assure you this happened as you could see them from your rooms on a night time.
the pubs close by stay open till 3 but they all go indoors so it isnt noisy
i made some great friends on this holiday and got on with the reps fantastically.
if you have any doubts about going to this hotel dont it's amazing and im sure you will wan tot go again i know i do !

We stayed at the Hotel Saturno for a week in May 2005. I was rather horrified at first by the room we had. It really is basic and very dated. 1970s'. The rest of the hotel and the outdoor facilities are very good though.
This is definitely a hotel you go to with kids aged 3-16. It is for the kids, you will not get a moments peace and quiet, however as we have kids this was good for us.

This was a great hotel for families, as there is always plenty to do for the kids. The rooms in hotels are always smaller than in apartments but I thought they were a reasonable size.maid service was excellent , and the hotel was immmaculate.
The restaurant was fantastic , and would put most British restaurants to shame.The choice and quality of the food was incredible.
The drink , was , as usual in all inclusive deals , watered down nonsense and the entertainment was abysmal.We were there in April though , and maybe if you go later when it is held outside it might be better.Neither of these points were a surprise to me though. I've never seen decent entertainment in a hotel , and the drink is always watered down in all inclusive deals.
This is really a great hotel overall,just spoiled a bit by the usual scum who think union jacks and st george crosses are haute couture.

Stayed in the Saturno (1 of 3 on the complex). The staff were fantastic.The hotel clean and food was good.
My fellow guests mostly British and proud of it,were in the majority..... what can I say.
There were draped in tacky gold trinkits and rings,Smoked themselves silly and had no regard for their children. In the evenings they all put their football tops on to identify themselves from each other.
The Hotels are high rise and I would have thought at the top of the season,very busy.
I would not go back.
Still one mans taste and all that.......

I stayed at this complex at the end April/early May and it was very busy then. I would absolutely hate to be there high season. The food wasn't too bad and the kids enjoyed themselves. However, it wasn't my 'cup of tea' - far too many low-lives there who gathered in packs - quite off putting. Lots of people who thought they could sing karaoke once they'd had a belly full of booze, but they just sounded dreadful.
An OK holiday if you're a pikey, but not for 'normal' folk.
