We booked up for this holiday 2 week before we went and we weren't sure what we were going to after reading the report about it.
The hotel was clean but half way through the week we had to ask to get clean towels as the dirty ones kept getting hung back up.
The food was very basic and not too good as my daughter and me are fussy eaters we did struggle for something we liked.
The weather was terrible so there was nothing to do but sit in the main hall and it was full too burst as everyone was doing the same thing as there wasn't anywhere else to go except your room, and this is in the quiet season!!
The entertainment was terrible the reps tried there best but at times it was quite embarrassing.
On a good note the grounds were lovely and had lots to do for kids, my wee one loved it(when we could get out when the rain stopped)
Wouldn't go back if it was free. Sorry folks.

Booked all inclusive allocated on arrival and was sent to the Jupiter. Thought the hotel was spotless, towels if left in bath are changed daily rooms are a bit small but for 2 for a week they were fine only used for sleeping and changing clothes anyway.
The hotel staff were excellent hard working and always had a smile and time for a chat it was some of the guests who had the problem with the mess they made hate to see their houses.
Entertainment was a bit iffy but only used it as a base so can't really comment.
Food was fine always found something to eat you can't please everyone.
All in all if I got the same deal again

I am surprised by some of the negative comments posted on this site. It was our first holiday in 14 years and the first time our children have been abroad. We stayed in the jupiter hotel and found everything about this holiday excellent. The rooms were cleaned regularly and the size of the rooms were perfectly adequate for a family of four, you only sleep there after all!!
The food is excellent with a wide variety of choice, breakfasts were our favourite meal with everything you could imagine, fried breakfast, cereal, cold meats/cheese, yogurts, croissants, cakes, toast, dried fruit etc etc. The tables were cleared immediately between courses.
The hotels location was fine. There is a bus to the beach but it is only a 15 minute walk and worth visiting, the sea is so shallow and fish swim right up to the shore around your legs. there are so many different areas within walking distance and the market in the old town on Sundays/tuesdays is only about a half hour walk, even with a 7 years old child.
The staff coped exceedingly well although you sometimes got the feeling that they were talking amongst themselves about how greedy/arrogant some of the british people were (and i ashamedly admit that there were quite a lot of families like that).
I would say that in October you should take a lot of mosquito spray as everyone got bit to bits.
I would recommend this hotel to families with young children but not to those expecting a quiet break.

Stayed in this hotel for 1 week found the hotel very dirty and rooms small and also could do with a good clean and re-furbished. Had to complain most days to reception about towels not been left. During our stay our room floors had never been cleaned and looked as if they had not been done for a while.
In your rooms you can hear everyone in their rooms around you and I am not joking its that bad you would think they were in your room.
The food was very basic and most days we had to eat out as food was that disgusting.
Around the hotel tables were dirty and sticky never getting cleaned didn't see many cleaners around during the day to do this.
This hotel is full of families who let their children do what they want when they want. Children on a night were laid all over even on the staircases drunk and being sick.
We got this holiday really cheap not like some poor families who had paid a lot of money for this hotel if we had paid that kind of money I would have been really disapointed.

My Partner and I booked a late deal to the Jupiter hotel on a all inclusive basis. I have to say I was alittle dissapointed when reading some of the reviews befor our departure.
However we couldn't of had a better time. The hotel staff really tried there hardest to take care of everybodys needs they couldn't of been nicer.
The hotel remained almost clean and the rooms were spotless they were cleaned every day.
The food was brilliant a choice for everybody especially with three differant dining rooms to chose from.
The food varied from fish to pasta. There was a choice of meat to chosse from daily. Snacks were served during the day all day it was brill.
The location of the hotel was fab it is close to all the bars and resturants around 10min walk. There are lots of shops and bars outside of the hotel and the water park is just 2min walk away.
The hotel entertainment was excellent. There was something for everybody including bingo during the day and night, films for the kids at night, mini disco, dancing shows, BeeGees night, Acrobats, Quizes.
The swimming pools were good there was around six to choose from and we always got a sunbed without a problem there were lots of sunbeds to go round.
We played crazy golf during the day and went on the swans around the lake. We're booking again for next year without a doubt. . .

We stayed in hotel Jupiter for the second year running.
There had been slight improvements made from last year eg the restaurant was more organised with telling people what was on the menus that day. The food was fine, at least 4 nights out of ten they served a freshly carved meat one night even with yourshire puds!! Some people need to remember that this is 3 star+ - if you are so fussy go self catering or pay more!!! Also last year some parents were letting young children go into the restaurant unaccompanied- this wasnt the case this year and again made meal times a lot better
Our room was basic but clean, we had no problems with the staff. If you are polite and friendly with them they are with you. (it is a shame that some people go on holiday and leave their manners behind )
The toilets in the main hotel were kept as clean as they could be, again if some parents could be bothered to get up from their sun loungers and take children to the toilet a lot of the mess would not be made - the cleaners were always brushing litter up but what can you do when a minority think the floor is the rubbish bin?!
The entertainment was good - there was plenty too choose from certainly a lot more than on some all inclusive complexs i have visited.
The bar did shut at 12 but this wasn't a problem too most people and it was decent large - San Miguel !!- last year the bars were kept open longer and there was quite a bit of disruption in the hotel due to too much alcohol intake. this is a family complex - again if people want all night drinking go elsewhere.
I would have no hesiatation going again, the majority of families who go are decent people and the odd ones who aren't you can get anywhere I'm afraid.

We arrived and was put into the jupiter hotel, this complex has 3 hotels on it and by the 3rd day we asked to be transfered to the saturno, our feelings were that if you want to see the worst of the brits abroad then stay here!! we had shouting and swearing, and doors banging at all hours day and night, and young lads chanting football songs and playing football in hotel corridors. At times i felt ashamed of being british, but thank goodness we were staying with other like minded brits so that made things much better.
The staff were great and a big big thanks to the entertainment staff, keeping most of the kids happy during the day and us at night, the shows are fantastic. The hotel complex is very clean and a credit to the management the grounds are extensive and are very well kept. food was good and a good selection and lots of it. this complex is great for families and couples but if you can stay in the saturno or marte if possible to ensure you get a good nights sleep.

We stayed at the Jupiter, it was clean but rooms need upgrading, one small wardrobe so we had to live out of suitcases. Towels changed every three days was disgusting.
Jupiter was main hotel for snacks etc so it was like a pigsty all the time, other hotels were tidy. Adults left rubbish all over when there were plenty of bins. Staff work hard and are very friendly.
Entertainment was OK but after a few days started to get boring. Food great first week but second week everything was repeated.
A very noisy hotel, doors banging all night & not much sleep. Would not visit again, once was enough.

Hotel was excellent staff extremely friendly. Plenty to eat and drink. Hotel shared with sister hotels and has about 6 swimming pools all child friendly.
Read reviews and was dreading holiday but please judge for yourselves. Clean towels every day if needed just need to put in bath for changing.
If you are after a peaceful holiday don't choose this hotel as there alot of families so many children.
The only think that let the holiday down was the people that stayed in the hotel who had no respect for anyone else slamming doors and mouthing off in the early hours of the morning.
If you are going to stay at this hotel then please have some respect for others.
Staff did loads to try and keep hotel clean put many people too lazy to walk to bin (hotel had plenty) to dispose of rubbish.

Did not know what to expect when we read these reviews, but for a week I found the hotel we were in was alright for a week.
Quiet friendly staff, who did their best to cope, we mainly had complaints regarding the company we went with.
We went with the flow slept during day to much noise at night.
The hotel would of been better if they had more staff to deal with all the guests, or the parents of families themselves could teach the kids to better behaved and remember other guests are at the hotel not just them.
The food could have been better, we stuck to fresh food cooked, or brought food.
On the whole we would not go back to this hotel or any holiday with the company we went with.
