The resort of Cala D'or is a bit on the quiet side, but there's enough bars and clubs to keep the resort busy.
A good range of eating houses, they even have a Burger King. It's a great place for a family holiday.

This resort is ideal for a family holiday, not too busy or noisy, handful of bars and shops to walk round.
Mini train that does a round trip to Cala D'or for 3 euros.

The beach at Cala Egos is ok, but quite small and the water was not particularly clear. During our stay there were also a lot of jellyfish.
Cala Egos is not large and overly commercialised, but there is plenty enough in terms of shops, bars, and restaurants to keep people happy. The main centre in Cala Egos has loads of restaurants - enough to eat at a different place every day for a month.
If you want a leery, brits-abroad holiday location then don't come here. If you're a young family looking for a pleasant location then this would be ideal for you.

What a place to go beaches in coves all over all with clear waters.
The resort itself is one of the best we have been to. Something for everyone day and night one restaurant I recommend is Minervet. Great food great prices and friendly staff.
Also of an evening you must try Carabels with fantastic staff one who has everyone in stitches they also cater for all ages, but saying that, everywhere you go there is something to see or do a must for couples and families.

The resort seems small until you have a walk round, there is an amazing amount to see. Everywhere you go is spotlessly clean, the views from wherever you go are beautiful. All the beaches are excellent, water is crystal clear, every bar or restaurant you go to is first class. One of the restaurants we went to is called the Marivent, the food is amazing and well priced. Best pub we went to is called the Carabel - make sure you go there ther bar staff are nuts :) plus its also 2 for 1 between 8pm and 10pm. veeerrryyy nice :)

Cala D'Or is a fantastic resort for families. There are lots of bars and restaurants to choose from and all were child friendly.
We visited Cala Ferrera and Cala Esmeralda beaches which were beautiful. The beaches are clean and the sea was really clear and good for snorkelling.

Resort lovely and i would visit again, lots of nice bars and restuarants and lovely little beach although does get very busy in peak season.

Marina very clean. Only ventured into Cala D'Or Town a couple of times, but again clean.
Plenty of places to eat - though a little pricey around the Marina area. Didn't go much for the night life in the Town Centre, preferred to sit in a bar overlooking the Marina and beautiful yatchs with a cocktail or two. (Smugglers Inn - reasonably priced for working your way through cocktail menu.) The M.E@ting Harbour and Churchills very friendly and good food.
We walked to Es Forti beach which was quite a trek past the marina and through the trees - approx 20 minutes - but well worth it when you got there. Clear blue water, kids enjoyed snorkelling and feeding the fish. Beach very clean. Toilets available.
Would definitely visit Cala D'Or again - hopefully on our yacht next time!!

cala dor is a lovely resort,picturesque coves,sandy beaches,

Cala D'or is a wonderful resort to stay in. Ideal for families and groups of friends who want somewhere lively and entertaining, but not too rowdy. There is a perfect mix of shops, bars and nightlife. The streets are always clean, and even at 2am, me and my friends felt totally safe walking back to our hotel.
