Hotel is approx 10 mins walk to the centre where there are a selection of bars restaurants and shops. Shops are ok however it is the general condition of the town that is a let down streets are dirty and full of dog mess which resulted in one of our party having to throw away her footware. Beach is good and sea is lovely however a bit crowded in high season overall the resort looks tired and needs a face lift not the pretty spain you would expect

The resort of Can Picafort is lovely, although there is lots of dogs poo along the promanade, which you have to walk around. We found it very quiet which is what we wanted, there was not the usual yobs and drunken behaviour, this resort is suitable for families, couples and girls on a holiday together, at no time did we see any trouble or felt threatened in anyway. The promanade has lots of tapis bars and family bars along it. You can also take a boat trip around the island, there is plenty to do, as long as you arent looking for "a wild nightlife"

Never saw any litter around the hotel or bars etc; beach cleaned every day too. This isn't a lively resort but there are shops and bars and there is a market each Friday where they close off the road for the stalls - good bargains to be had on leather goods/suitcases etc! If you want a more busy resort then stay in C. Picafort itself. There is a good bus service to C.Picafort, Alcudia and Puerta Pollensa - they do cram you in though! Son Baulo is basically a great, chilled out resort - ideal for families in a location where you can easily get to other places from - if you can tear yourself away! If any Son Baulo staff read this review - a big 'thank you' from the Bell family - you should be very proud of yourselves for the good customer service you provide and all your hard work pays off!

Resort quieter than Alcudia,felt very safe walking in the evening.Beach was very clean.Lots of usual gift shops etc

Good resort but beach was a bit neglected - probably because it was very busy. Bars and restaurants are fun and there is access to watching sky sports if you are (like me) a football widow. Kids enjoyed it a lot.

Can Picafort is a bit of a mixed bag shop all much the same in the resort one good place to eat for snacks or a meal Williams Bar good freindly staff and good food.
Like most of Spain nightlife starts late but again a mixed bag depending on what you are looking for.
Beach area is clean and well kepted but usualy busy. Most weekends especially when we were there it was a bit of a motorbikers day out to the seaside hundereds of bikers decended on the place both weekends we were there

Son Baulo is really peaceful but within easy reach of the centre of Can Picafort. The beach is great and there are enough shops and bars to browse. There is bike hire available, which is fun, a good market and a go-karting circuit nearby (they will collect you from your hotel). We loved it!

the resort was excellent.lots to do.lovely beach and promenade beware of bikes!loads o restaurants and bars,most of them do the most mouth watering icecreams.

Lovely friendly resort with gorgeous beach. Not too busy in the evenings but lively enough to find lots to do. Pedestrian area in the main street with stalls/shops is great. No yobs (that we saw anyway) as the nighclubs are all downstairs in this resort and all hotels/bars seemed to close at midnight if they were not underground. Our room was overlooking 'Blondies Bar' which had music every night but even this finished at around half eleven/midnight so there was no noise disturbance.
