Plenty of choices on shops and and the place really only came alive after 8-9pm as that is when most locals eat at night. We felt safe at all times walking around the town as there was no sight of the usual Pissed brits everywhere but plenty of people jostling for your business. lots of taxi ranks with no shortage of cabs to jump in. The only thing I would say is no matter how poor you spanish is learn a few basics,please, thank you and can I have the bill please and you will be received a lot more warmly than if you just point to a menu and say "dos".
The local bus service is excellent and for 2.45 euros you can go all the way to alcudia and Porta Pollensa which are well worth the trips for the day.

The town centre from the hotel is about a 20min walk away, but if you walk along the promenade it is quite pleasant. Buses run every 15 mins into can picafort centre and back again
The beach is lovely it is cleaned regularly.there is a life guard on duty everyday, plenty of sun beds and parasols how ever the sea can be quite choppy at times.

Very clean prom, with pleny of bars with live groups, shallow sandy beach great for kids

The walk from our hotel down to the main part of c'an picafort was quite dirty and off putting, there was a lot of dog mess and run down buildings between the two. To get fro our hotel to the beach, we had to walk through a playpark area and at night it was very dark as there was virtually no street lighting in that area.
The seafront promenade itself was lovely, very clean and well presented. There are several people along the beach who make the most amazing sandcastle you will ever see. There is a very good range of shops along the promenade, they sell some lovely things but thanks to the awful state of the euro at the moment, they are quite expensive.
I do feel that C'an Picafort is quite geared up for the German tourists, there are lots more bars and restaurants aimed at the Germans than there are for English. I have to say that on the whole, I found the German tourists quite rude, having to push my little girl in her buggy in the road as they wouldnt walk single file.
There are some lovely bars and pubs, our favourite was definately the Oasis bar that have live music playing every night.

not the prettiest location(surounding the hotel) but the beach was lovely shops about 5 mins walk away ..went on the local express train aound the village was good..

the resort of C'an picafort is reached by walking along the beach front and past the harbour
there is a good english bar called shananigans just outside the hotel
also the market is situated just outside the hotel which is very good
in C'an picafort there is a good selection of bars resturants and shops
Alcudia is about a 20 min bus ride away

This resort is lovely its so peaceful but there are a few bars etc if you want them. The beach is lovely and we will return but to a different hotel

resort was very clean,very friendly....no mithering to go in their bars.......enertainment outside hotel was good all round. beach was a piture and we r planning family holiday there next year

The cleanliness of the resort was unbelievable so clean ,the resort is beautiful and the entertainment is cool !The beach is okay but i prefered to stay by the pool.This resort is one i would recommend. X
