Ok, the resort is a German resort, but there are still things for English people to do!
There are about 4-5 English bars that we found. The staff are all very friendly and the food and drink is resonably priced.
All British bars show live sports and also English Soaps and they have kareoke as well so you can have a good laugh at night. The English bars stop serving food at about 5pm so if you are SC or B&B you will have to eat in a restuarant aimed at Spanish people or Germans, but we found no problems with this and even though they struggled to speak English. They were willing to help and provide a good service.
We only had one bad experience of eating out and that was at a resaruant/cafe on the beach abnd the waiter clearly did not like English people and was very rude to us..So we didn't tip and did'nt bother returning again!
The beach has to be the main attraction to this resort, it is GORGEOUS!!! It is cleaned every morning and the sea is so clear and you can walk out into the sea for miles and it does'nt get deep, so it is very safe for children and also it's very warm!
The resort is very clean and we found absolutely no problems with the area at all!!!
If you do go to the area definitely go to the Crazy Golf, it is a great night out and we had a right laugh-again the bar is all German but they are friendly and happy to help!
I would definitely go back to this resort again we had a great time in El Arenal!!!! Happy Holidaying!

The Beach is very clean if you go down in the mornings there are tractors on the beach cleaning the sand.
Sea is rocky in places but if you look you can find places that are more sany than others.
Didnt use resort entertainment but it looked like there was lots of places to go to and enjoy yourself. There are lots of restaurants including Mcdonalds, Burger King, Ben and Jerrys and restaurants of all cultures.

resort catered for german, spanish and french. open air pubs, cafebars and restaraunts. enough entertainment for everyone. resort for all ages. nice atmosphere. would go back. verey relaxing.

Resort nice and clean the entertainment in the resort was for the Germans. Beach was very clean and always packed. There were plenty of bars along the beach.

The resort I thought was great. The beach was fantastic and very clean, you could walk out into the water for a hundred yards and it would still be no higher than your knees

The odd place was okay to go for a drink or meal.I would just like to point out to anyone thinking of going not to take children here.nice beach area thats it.

resort was mainly spanish/dutch/german tourists. so dont expect quick service, but on the whole a relaxing break

The front has a lovely promenade and the beach is very long sweeping round Palma Bay. There is a small harbour that runs boat trips around the bay. A toy town train runs along the Bay frequently taking you from Arenal to C'an Pastilla and back. There are Horse and Cart rides doing the same. The buses are frequent and very comfortable. There are plenty of shops, bars and restuarants along the front, few of which are English. The front is the highlight. The rest of the resort is not up to much.

As I had spent a day in Arenal previously this was my chosen resort to stay on this visit. We found the beach very inviting with shops lining the promenade. We visited a few of the cafes along the sea front and the service was excellent and all places extremely clean. The cost of a taxi from the airport was only 17 euros. The buses were cheap and a visit to Palma cost us 1euro 20 each way. We were there for only three days but would happily return again.
