We travelled with two children aged 4 and 6 and it was our first time A/I.
Food and drink was regularly availible all though got a bit boring towards the end of the week as there wasnt much variation.
The hotel wasnt sparkling but was clean enough, the room was a bit cramped but had a lovely view. The staff were very friendly although the entertainment wasnt that gret for younger children it was a fifteen min mini disco evey evening.
Would visit hotel again probably next year.

Arrived at the Honolulu after being double booked in our original hotel, the Mimosa Park (along with another eight parties).
Honolulu very dated and basic but on the doorstep of either Palma Nova or Magalluf. Definitely not for the infirm - if the hill doesn't get you, the steps will!
Wouldn't like to take kids here as can be noisy late at night and the hotel entertainment not the best. Good, basic hotel and food Ok.
Heard some grumbles from all inclusive clients about lack of snacks etc. but beer seemed to flow all day (and night)!

Been here before.
Great holiday again except for the entertainment/games if you have staff that look at their watch a lot you know they are bored too.
Food brilliant again.

This hotel is ideally located within easy reach of both Magaluf and Palma Nova, both only a 5 minute walk.
Hotel is very clean and tidy.Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Food was fab and the choice was different every night. The only down side was the entertainment programme or lack of it!!
We had 2 teenagers in our party and none of the daily or evening entertainment was entertaining for any of us and we went out most nights.

My husband & I travelled with my son aged 16 & his friend also 16.
Knowing this was only 3 star hotel I did not have any great expectations. On arrival I thought the reception area was ok, the staff were freindly enough & reception area looked clean.
The rooms however were worse than I had expected, there was sand on the floor from the previous guests, the room & furnishings were dated & the phone hardly ever worked, dispite reporting it several times. There was not enough electrical sockets & no complimentry toiletries. The breakfasts became very boring, but for its rating the food was more or less about ok. The 2 boys could always find something to eat even if they missed breakfast!!

After reading some reports about this hotel We were having reservations about going, but we thoroughly enjoyed everthing about the Honolulu. the food was excellent with a wide range offered every night to suit everyone. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms while being old fashioned were very clean and were cleaned daily.
The hill up to the hotel is very steep but after a few days you get used to it.
The only downside was having to get up at the crack of dawn to get a sun bed, the english have nothing on the germans for getting their towels down at 6am.
All in all this was a very good holiday

The hotel was good we went for a week apart from the fact it was at a top of a hill it was a lovely hotel the food was a bit boring and by the end of the week we were both getting fed up so we ate out .
There was food and drink available from 8am until midnight and the drink was the same. Entertainment was ok but the entertainers I felt didnt speak very good english and when playing bingo you couldnt make out what they were saying. As for the music to encourage you to dance it was slow, boring and felt it was the entertainers choice,should be cheesy songs to get you in the holiday spirit.
There were daily activities but not up to much I felt ,I wouldnt recommend going full board again unless you were getting a good deal. The night life in Magaluf was fab and the clubs are open til 6am the air conditioning in the room is there but felt no affect from it at all we had to hire a fan for the room as it was 95+ nearly every day.

The Honolulu hotel was quite clean the maid cames in everyday and changed towels twice a week. Sometimes she'd put your pj's in a fancy shape, very classy!
The food in the hotel was very nice a buffet style. It had at least two or three meats a night, once a week yo might get a carvery.Lots of salads, cakes and desserts to choose from. Late night snacks and snacks during the day between meals.
The hotel was directly across from the beach, and just along from very cheap shops. Next door to the hotel is the sling shot, well worth the money i am only 13 and i enjoyed it! Also on the same street as local pubs.
The staff in the hotel were extremly friendly especially nacho! he was very funny!

It was a bit of a family hotel, my younger brother and I made lots of friends in the hotel so I doon't recomend it to couples who prefer madness!
I hope my parents will take me back some year!

hotel very clean.food quite nice right next to the beach.the staff were very friendly especially the night porter.hotel very noisy especially from 12 midnight until at least 7 am.
no space around the pool but surrounding area lovely.
i would class this hotel as 18 to 30 definitley
no children.unless you want to sleep all day and party all night stay away.

We arrived at the hotel tired after a delayed flight to be met with 25 steps to take the cases up!!
Could not fault the staff at all during the holiday. Accomodation extremely clean, although our room could have done with some updating.
The children thoroughly enjoyed the nightly entertainment and some of the shows were good.
Unfortunately the last few days of our holiday were spoilt by an influx of stag parties, which into a family hotel was not ideal to say the least.
The bad language, inappropriate behaviour and loud noise went on til 5 -6 in the morning, so not much sleep was had by all.
Could not fault the staff at all during the holiday. Accomodation extremely clean, although our room could have done with some updating.
