I have stayed in this hotel about 8 times now and it just seems to get better and better the hotel is one of the best I have stayed in and well deserves its 3 stars.

The rooms are compact and have everything you need they are also cleaned everyday and the overal hotel is immaculate, food is good and there is something for everyone no suprises to see a lovely carvery every night, what can I say about the drink amazing!!

You can go to the bar and order 50 drinks and the staff are always pleasent with a smile on thir faces!

Entertainment is good and varies every night.

The overall location is good apart from the steep hill which is ok walking down I dont know about walking back up I was probably too drunk!!!

I wouldnt book another hotel remmeber you cant fix whats not broken!

This hotel would have the ideal position, if it was not for the steep hill to reach it, then the steep steps to reach reception. I personally didn't find it a problem but you just need to sit next to the poolside bar and see the faces of those making their way to the hotel that it can be a hard slog.

Hill apart, the hotel is 2 minutes from Magalluf and 5 minutes from Palmanova. The beach is at the bottom of the hill as well.

This was my first A/I holiday although my wife had been here a few years back. I thought the food was very good but then I'm not fussy. I've given it 3 because the fussier members of my party were limited to one or two choices per day per meal time. The drink also wasn't the best "local" alcohol that I'd tasted but it was ok.

The entertainment was fairly routine with the entertainers certainly more at home with younger children (my two are 12 & 16).

Overall I would go back if it could be a half-board holiday. I only benefited on A/I as the two boys could sleep in and still be able to get food when they ventured downstairs.

Not being a sun worshipper it didn't effect me, but the sun-loungers are like "hen's teeth" with people reserving their beds on the way home from the nightclubs (around 5-6am ) and then remaining in bed until lunchtime. Hotel doesn't seem to want to remove any towels and appear to leave it to individual holidaymakers to make the decisions on whether to remove towels or suffer in silence.

We were a bit apprehensive as this was our first all inclusive holiday but we soon realised our fears were unfounded. Ok the food is not 5* but I can honestly say that I was able to find something suitable at every meal time. This does not include breakfast as we dont normaly surface untill 11am. The kids also enjoyed the snacks ie burgers + chips between the main meal times.

I was delighted to find that the free beer was a very well known Spanish variety and not one of the cheeper brands.

Also the free cocktails were very refreshing and went down a treat.

This is an older hotel but to me a well kept one by the staff who I found very approachable and helpful. There was no fuss if you needed an extra towel you just asked and you got it with a smile.

A guy called Nacho ran the entertainment, he was a gem the kids loved him. The entertainment was aimed at the kids anything from Bingo to a live Grease show which Nacho somehow talked me into taking part in. A 42 year old T Bird the kids loved it and I needed afew beers at the end of it. It annoys me when people whinge about the entertainment standard in some hotels but they are aimed at the kids so treat your face to a smile grab a free beer and sit out on the lovely patio while the rest of us enjoy ourselves.

The hotel is located on a hill but as long as you dont try to sprint up it most of you should manage it ok and if you head out at night into Palma Nova or Magaluf the taxis home are very cheap.

A good way to judge a hotel is to ask would you go back and in this case the answer is I have already booked for June 2006. We arrive on the 13th hope to see you there and if Nacho has his way there will be a 43 year old T Bird. I cant wait.

Partner and I stayed all inclusive and were fairly apprehensive as this was the first time.

We found the hotel to be as clean as we would have expected. The food was excellent with a different choice on each of the 7 days we were there, not much in the way of snacks but with breakfast, lunch and dinner (as much as you wanted buffet)and a few cocktails we didnt really need the snacks.

The hill to the hotel wasnt as bad as we expected and largely went un-noticed. The beach was and town were just at the bottom of the hill, a few minutes walk, with plenty of bars, shops etc on the way. The staff were reasonably friendly and helpful and we had no complaints.

The entertainment was what I would expect from a hotel trying to cater for all tastes, they tried, but hey we were on holiday so we made the most of it.

Overall a very enjoyable holiday and we wouldnt hesitate to recommend a stay at the Honolulu.

Stayed here in the Easter holiday with my brother
Stevie.

Staff couldn't be more helpful asked for room change no problem. Entertainment ok but catered more for kids maybe because of Easter, would be better if the kids entertainment stopped at 10 pm.

Food excellent as were the snacks. The location was not as bad as I heard there is a steep hill but I have a heart condition and I went up and down at least 4 times a day.

Games during the day with little Debbie were fun with golf skittles darts etc. You did not wait long for drinks and the bar stocked a vast array of drinks ranging from milk shakes to ready mixed cocktails a special mention to the rep tony from my travel he was there most days and would do anything to please.

Nice hotel, but after being out and about all day that hill seems like a mountain! The hotel could do with a bit of a revamp, but it was clean and tidy and the food was good, always a varied selection.

The staff were always friendly and if you needed anything they would do there best to sort it for you. A quick thumbs up for tony the airtours rep who was always helpful.

We would stay again so thats probably the best recomendation, if you go enjoy yourselves.

Stayed in this hotel at Easter with my brother Andy from Stranraer.

The staff in the hotel were excellent and would bend over backwards to be of help. The bar staff were a bit of a problem in a good way that they didnae know how to pour small measures they were always cheery and there were no limits to the drinks you could get.

Some hotels in the AI are 2 per person the food was superb as were the views from the dining room.

The day entertainment was very good with Debbie the compare always trying to encourage everybody to take part. You won a certificate which was presented at the night time cabaret that

The Hotel Honolulu was great, the staff were brilliant especially Julio who proposed to me!!! Even though I was only 34 and he was about 65!!

Drinks were free flowing and strong only no trays to carry all our glasses back to the table.

Food was hot and tasty and different choice every day. Me and my friends couldnt speak for a week when we got home, and as soon as we could we were online booking another stay on 6th Oct so youve been warned!!!

Looking forward to seeing some familiar faces.

We were redirected to this hotel due to the original hotel was closed for refurbishment.

this hotel was dirty, situated on a hill and most things were broke like the stair lift, the travel agents said it had only just broke down but when we got there we were told that it had been broken for 3 years.

Just as we were leaving there was a new manager who was very strick on staff. if there was a problem the guest who made it was ordered to leave.

This hotel was booked up with people who stayed overnight they came on a fag run unlike us we came for a holiday not a fag run.

The travel agent should class this as a 2 star not a 3 star.

Booked this week as an alternative to the hotel we usually go to in Benidorm, just for a change.

As we pulled up to the hotel it looked great. Nice pool (not that we would be in that this time of year) well kept gardens, and the outside appearance to the hotel looked good. That was the beginning of the end.

On entering the hotel we were immediately engulfed in a dense smog that was seeping out from the bar/lounge area. We queued up to register for our room and found that it was not ready and would not be for a couple of hours, we were tagged with our all inclusive wristband and pushed into the lounge bar. 95% of the people smoked, ashtrays, although frequently emptied, were just as frequently filled. We got a couple of beers from the bar and went back into the reception area to escape the smoke.

After passing some time with another disgruntled traveller we obtained our key to our room on the 7th floor.

The hotel has 2 small lifts that, although should have taken 6 people, would only work with 3 or 2 and their luggage. Once in the lift we were confronted with graffiti scratched into the steel clad walls of the lift and control panel, most sad to say in British writing.

Out of the lift and to the room. On opening the door the room was spotlessly clean but had a faint smell of smoke, we didn
