Don't go if your over a size 12 to access the shower. And stay clear if you are disabled.

Just a short walk away from the hotel is a place they call the sqaure, not much to look at during the day but it comes alive at night with bars and places to eat and trinket shops.
But best of all Free outside entertainment with some excellent acts and and compare who is a laugh a minute.
The beach is about 15 minutes walk down hill and can be a bit of a jaunt coming back, however once at the beach it is very clean and very good for the kids, sun beds and a parosol is 9 euros, there are plenty of places to eat or buy food, the toilets are kept clean and are 50 cents and worth it.
in the evening there are so many places to shop and eat we found a superb resturaunt called Kelly's Corner and it has superb food and service, its just up from the crocodile resturant opposite the fountain.
There is also a Chinnese buffet resturaunt just by the roundabout in the town its 9.5 euro's for all you can eat incuding sweets, all they ask is dont waste the food, hey thats fair enough.
The only thing I would advise is, dont expect much for your money, the pound is weak against the euro and the prices have gone up, shop around and use the excellent supermarkets if you are buying food.

i will definately going back to santa ponsa again,first class resort the spanish square is a life saver if you have children,bit of dog poo in the resort which i find strange as there doesnt seem to be any poop and scoop laws,dont let it put you off first class resort.beach wonderful.

The main attracton of this resort was the entertainment in the "square" with an open air stage surounded by lots of restaurants / bars , some great tribute acts like Abba Drifters , Zerox , Beijing Acrobats and Westlife to name a few.

santa ponsa is a little gem it caters for everyone with many bars shops and restaurants and entertainment ther is somthing for everyone
it has a beautiful beach with many water sports sunnbeds
it has a safe swimming area which is well patrolled the entertainment in the square is fantastic both for adults and kids and of course its free a really good night out for all the family

The square up the top is definately worth a visit, but the irish part was a bit young for us!! Plenty of bars & restaurants round our hotel though. You must go see Elvis and the Rovers Return - he is fab!!

night life was great ..would recommend the resort to those who wish to have a hectic night life!
Clean area
Beach was lovely , and the paddle boats were great also
I would certainly visit the area again and i would also!
Sun Beach if you want comfortable accomodation that is right next to the beach and in the centre of the town!

Santa Ponsa is a good resort, in the side roads its a game of skip the dog poo. But the local council seem to be cleaning all the while.
The beach area is beautifully clean, the sun bed guys are always checkng for litter and cigarette ends.
There are many places to eat, all seem of a good standard and the irish bars are fantastic.
The tourist information office on the back of the beach will help with any queries.

Great place for all ages. Fab beach and lot's of shops to look around and loads of places to eat and drink.

very clean resort, lots of live entertainment but mostly irish singers didnt mind as i like that kind of stuff and visit ireland regulary,prices not bad for bars with entertainment on ,durty nellies always busy and lively till late, also enjoyed lucky leprachaun,felt quite a safe place,wasnt hassled with any touts.can visit magalluf on bus ,but found buses didnt run that often in evening ,but taxis not bad if theres a few of you.would visit again,thought resort had very good setting,in a bay.

Santa Ponsa is a really lovely resort, plenty of bars to go to - Mostly Irish themed - and the whole resort has a good vibe to it. There is also a square that has open air entertainment which is a good place to take children to as there are seats all around and all the family can enjoy it!
