lovely beach loads of nice resturants but too many bars catering for young people.never seen one place that i would really want to stay in whilst there

Felt it was very expensive, restaurants etc.

The beach is the best beach ever. There are loads of shops and eating places and something for everyone. Not far from the airport either!

We found Santa Ponsa to be very family oriented as there is lots to do. We also found it very safe and did not see any trouble whatsoever. Plenty of entertainment in various bars and we loved the Square. The beach is lovely and well looked after. We have now been to Santa Ponsa the past two years and will definatley be going back next year

Santa Ponsa is brilliant. The kids love it there. The beach is big and clean and there are so many shops and places to eat.

The Square seems to be the most popular area of this resort but if you don't have kids (or don't want to be around kids) I would suggest you don't use it. The entertainment was OK but not always as advertised. The walk from The Square to the beach is about 10 minutes (going down) but it's quite a pull coming back. There is a large Irish area close to the beach which was always buzzing but lots of other bars too if you walk towards and past the beach. Didn't use the beach but it looked clean. The usual selection of souvenier and perfume shops and one Lacoste shop for those of you with some spare cash!!

Nice clean resort, every day there was street cleaning and hosing down of the streets.
We stayed near the irish quarter which seemed to be very busy and loud after midnight, so the 18-30 crowd should like it. Having said that as a family we always felt safe walking by and there was a far bit for the kids to do. We enjoyed the square. The Saturday night entertainment, in particular, was brilliant.
The beach was nice and clean and busy though still with planty of space to bathe.
I would recommend to families with young and older kids alike.

sunbeds are 5 euros at the beach! everything else is cheap. enjoy it.

A beautiful place to visit. Very friendly, not pushy, all speak english. Lovely beach. Bus routes easily accesable to all other island resorts. Plenty of places to eat and make friends. Have McDonalds and Burger king for fussy eaters or for a kiddies treat.
