The resort was clean as a whole. Biggest shame was that we didn't discover Molly's Bar until the last night. Special big thanks to Pete for this! (Go Scotland) We won the quiz night and Bingo twice, Would have liked more time on the karaoke!
Restaurants in the town were good value and the town was busy enough to be entertaining but not too noisy.
Small beach nearby. Not as clean as it could have been. It was covered in glass.
Would definitely visit again mainly due to the friendly, fun attitudes of the reps.

If you are looking for long stretches of sandy beaches then don't go to this resort but there are very picturesque coves which are good for snorkling. There are 2 small beaches to choose from and walkable (probably take about 10-15 minutes with small children).

Lots of shops and a burger king and childrens entertainment in the bars and restaurants surrounding the appartments.

The resort was ok - typical tourist town. Restaurants were fairly cheap (about 35 euros for meal and drinks for a family of four)but the food was pretty awful. Majority of restaurants had kids play areas attached so the children were entertained. There is a nice square in the middle of the resort which has about four bars and a nightclub - it is very chilled here and the have a Large Tv sat outside that plays Kids DVD's fantastic for our 2 and 3 year olds to fall asleep to!

There is a beach approximetly 5 mins from Hotel - nice and quiet with lots of little fish to catch in nets! I would reccomend the Boat trip (even though it is fairly pricey) that takes you to beaches that you can't get to by car...Fantastic!

Water parks are ok -don't expect any thing fantastic but the kids liked it and it was a good day out.

we did'nt really get an opportunity to get out of the resort much but the coach ride to and from the island showed us how pretty Menorca really is.

The resort can be summed up in one sentence 'Blackpool with heat'. It is full of 'chip' places and we only found a couple of good restaurants - look to the edge of town. Other than that the food is rubbish - a lot of other holidaymakers had the same to say. Don't have a mixed paella unless you are willing to not recognise the meat in it. The main street is a bit offputting with bouncy castles along route and there is nothing remotely Spanish about it. The beaches are manmade and sandcastles will be hard to build - thats if you can find any space as the beach is minute. We felt we had to hire a car - good value at 115 euros for five days - don't go with the hotels 'offers', but book an outside company. A pretty poor resort all in all - you can get a lot better elsewhere and unless you're willing to stay in the hotel all holiday, prepare to be disappointed.

Resort very clean with staff almost continually cleaning around us!

Did not really use entertainment facilities unless you count kids playgrounds, all of which came in useful.Last visited Calan forcats beach when I was seven years old and was pleased that it is still the same.Excellent for fishing with the kids, the beach is ideal for young children as it is more of a sandy cove as opposed to long stretches of sand,as a result probably not as good for older kids. Both my children loved it.The other beach is a bit nearer but we found too busy.

Would certainly visit the resort again whilst children are still young, very child friendly from apartments to restauraunts on site and nearby. All in all a good time had by all!

I found the resort very clean. The entertainment was very good all around the resort! The beach was also lovely aswel. There was one beach where you could jump off rocks which was fun. I would not doubt visit this resort again I found it a lovely place to stay in.

The resort was very clean and a great place for families. The bars near our apartment had huge inflatables for the kids to play on while we had a drink or two!

There were plenty of restaurants and shops that you could wander round at your leisure. The water park was a great day out and right next to our appartment.

Everyone was very friendly and great with the kids, and we went on plenty of trips out of the town, with buses very frequent.

The beach was ok but quite a walk to get to.

A great family resort.

Although we liked the resort, we found that it was very 'English' with big screen TV's in every bar - you could even watch all the weekly soaps. The main diet in the town was chips with everything! However, if you strayed off the beaten track a little you could find quiet Spanish restaurants/bars.

The beach is very small - hidden away down a rocky track, and we didn't find this until more than halfway through our holiday, but as the weather wasn't wonderful we didn't want to use it anyway.

We hired a car for one day for 30 Euros, a 5-door Nissan Micra with air conditioning and power steering, which was great as I had never driven abroad before. (We could have had a smaller car for 27 Euros!!!) We drove to Mahon and found this to be a very clean town with all the usual facilities, then we came back via some of the little bays and resorts along the south coast of the island, which are all very pleasant. We found that the buses are very efficient and 2.10 Euros got both of us to anywhere we liked.

The locals were all very friendly and the level of service was second to none and although I say I would not go back to Cala N Forcat, I would definitely recommend it toi others.

The area on a whole is on the flat until you want to get to the beaches at Cala n Forcat, Blanes, Piques, or Brut. Cala n Forcat beache is more shelves in the rocks than a beach, but take your snorkel and fishing rod the fish are plentiful. For bait use bread tried eveything else nothing worked.

I would advise anyone going to take your driving licence the Island has lots of places you can't get to by bus, and yes if you see a dirt path wide enough for a car go down it, it may seem you are driving forever but whats at the end is well worth the very bumpy trip. Just pray no one is coming in the other direction because they are roads built for one car only.

Another tip when hiring a car check out the insurance covers you for full accident, one place we went to couldnt even tell us what the insurance covered!

Eating out is reasonable they seem made on pizza's??
If you are after a steak which is second to none try the Braccus Grill dont ask for mushrooms with it though they cant accomodate!

If you want to watch sport try the Music Bar 'Bora Bora' not far from Top Markets.

All in all a fab holiday in fact Im just off to book to go back in September.

dont eat at the l'anchora restaurant the food we got from there was overcooked and cold. The paella was really salty and you didnt get much. We had to wait over an hour to get our food and then it didnt come all at the same room. I had finished before my mum got her meal. The restaurant also overcharged us and i never got the chips i asked for. It was rubbish.

Haiti and bianco restaurants are nice though.

there are lovely beachs in cala n forcat we went swimmin loads in the sea

cala n forcat is a bit boring just restaurants so is cuitadella there is nothing much to do. No historic castles or anything to look around . This place is great if you dont want to do anything.
