The resort is clean, and the entertainment is fantanstic, (All around Cala'n'Porter). The beach is down quite a few steps, but is surrounded by cliffs, therefore very picturesque. We will be visiting Cala'n'Porter in 2007 for the sixth year.

The Salamader (sp) was good and cheap, but the best we found was Club Menorca - located just next to the appts, with stunning views. The food was was unbelievably nice - and a 3 course meal and bottle of wine for 2 adults, and 3 kids meals coming to around £65 Euros - about £45.
All in all a top time - definitely one for families though...

Cala 'n Porter is a small town with a few good bars with entertainment in most. It's definitely a place for a quite family holiday and definitely not for young parties lookng for the action. Booking a hired car is better to be done here rather than through the tour companies, as it works out cheaper, something I'll remember for next time.

I was told resort was nice and relaxing it is about 1pm until 8pm but after that its just noise.

Food is expensive and the beach is nice but small with about 90 steps down to it a train does take you up and down but its 2.50 euros a time.

The resort I felt had little to offer a family luckly we hired a car to get about all I can say is never again!

Resort fairly small. Would struggle for 2 weeks without a car to get away.

Lovely reataurants and quite a variety of food, no need to eat chips every night. Lovely seafood.

Lots of different tribute bands although no one seemed to dance which was a disappointment to us!

Beach wonderful also a lovely view of it from the top. We hired sunbeds (2 for 18euros) also a pedalo which was fun. Water very shallow. There's a river running into the sea which provided excellent fishing opportunities for our kids - kept them entertained for hours. Very clean with buoys and a lifeguard and bars with Estrella beer!

Thought a week for us was plenty.

Really glad we hired a car as it got us about the island which is not very big but has lots to see and do. There was one Restuarant that we kept going back to every night and that was Sa Paissa.

They had excellent food and great entertainment. I felt Cla n Porter was a very safe resort and somewhere I would visit again. I could have stayed for longer butfor the children a week was enough.

They loved Aquarock water park in Cala n Bosch (about 1 hour drive). We went 3 times!

The beach is lovely (17Euros for 2 sunbeds every day though). There is a lifeguard and water does not go very deep so felt safe letting older kids go and play in water whilst we sunbathed. Quite a steep walk there and back (we had a buggy so didn't fancy the steps).

Only 30 minutes transfer time from airport. Everywhere was clean, not too many tacky shops and loud clubs etc. Beach a bit to far down the cliff for prams, buggies etc For us, there is a bus to take you at certain times etc.

Had some very good meals out, everyone very friendly.

Would not go back due to locatoin of beach (having a 3 year old son).
