Went with my 19 year old daughter and 13 year old son and they were both adeequately entertained. First time ever been all inclusive and have never eaten so much on holiday before--tried the picnics once but didn't find them good so bought out when away from hotel which wasn't very often as it was great to stay there and chill.

Cleanliness was ok--cleaners worked very hard and were very courtious.

Food was great for us although desserts could have been more varied but ice cream was in great supply
Quiet location which suited me as I wanted a relaxing time and we all enjoyed the pool area.

What can I say about the entertainment--it was fantastic--bingo every night and Bob, Roccio and teresa worked very hard and kept everyone who wanted to be well entertained.

I would definately return again if get the chance

Just back from a brilliant fortnight at Sur Menorca.

The whole hotel was in excellent condition throughout and during our stay any spillages or breakages were dealt with very promptly.

Our room was very comfortable and cleaned daily although the a/c couldn`t really cope with the heat. The only fault we could find was the shower was quite slippy.

The food was very varied and of a high standard. Any nearly empty trays were quickly replaced with full ones. Look out for the daily specials from the grill- anything from chops to steak to shrimps freshly cooked as you watch. There was never a problem getting a table even though the hotel seemed very busy.

The one thing that lets this hotel down is the location. Thank goodness for the courtesy bus to Punta Prima. There`s not much there, a few restaurants, an ATM, a chemist and a couple of supermarkets but it`s cheaper than the shop in the hotel. It`s less than 20 Euros for a taxi to Mahon or you can get a bus from Punta Prima and it`s well worth a visit. Make sure you go on the glass bottomed boat!

The staff were very friendly and always willing to help. Even though the queues at the bar sometimes seemed long they soon went down.

Entertainment was fine a professional show every second night and of course bingo! Rocio was an absolute gem! She`s great at remembering names and was always up for a laugh with all the kids.

Overall we would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday. We would have no hesitation in going back.

This is absolutely the worst place we have ever stayed in. The hotel is dirty and run down, in the foyer the floor tiles are broken and all the sofas are torn and tatty. The food was so bad that we spent an extra

Sur Menorca Hotel. We had a super room as we always go for a high floor so that any noises are in the distance. Room was clean and towels changed when needed and bed linen changed regulary.

All Inclusive was fine, there was plenty of variety to choose from and although basic food it was good. Wine on tap at lunch and dinner. The restaurant staff worked very hard and were always pleasant. Drinks round the pool served in plastic cups for safty reasons.(I agree with this no one wants broken glass anywhere.)

While we were there a different tour company had issues with their AI. About 50/60 holiday makers gave the staff, manager and reps absolute hell for two days because the evening snacks after 6pm were stopped for them. Considering you finish dinner at 9 to 9.30 and are stuffed what else do these people need to eat. You would have thought by the shouting, demands and acusations they were making that they were being starved. Mind you the evening snacks were quite good, burgers, hot dogs, nice toasted ham and cheese sandwiches sometimes chips.

We were there 14 nights and stayed in for the entertainment because it was so good. Maybe it was just the weeks we were there but it was the best entertainment we have had in any hotel we have been in, and we usually go 4/5* not 2*. Always plenty going on during the day for the kid's if they were the sort to part take in games, footie etc. In fact the kids were all happy and well entertained and got certificates in the evening. We had no children but enjoyed watching the other kids having fun.

We used the childrens pool area at the back of the hotel it was far less crowded and the water was so warm and shallow so you could just wallow in it to cool off.

We were there last two week in July, weather was roasting hot. Wouldn't go at that time again. In the reception there is a huge sitting room with a TV, full of setees. We called this the fridge because it was always freezing in there. It was a God send to go in at all different times of the day to cool off and have a coffee.(They do good coffee) The setees were well used but not as bad as someone on this site said.

The shuttle bus was always going too and fro to Punta Prima beach. We would walk through the loverly villas built on the way down the the sea and then walk along the front to Punta Prima, takes about 40 mins but it was far more pretty than the hot sticky walk that took 15 mins past the fields. We didn't find it a problem being a good walk from the beach, but if you had children and had to cart a load of stuff maybe it would become a drag getting the shuttle bus all the time. Nice little beach once you get there with a few nice liitle places to sit for lunch or a drink but not much else. Didn't go in the evening because there wasn't much to do there.

We would go back to the hotel again. We had a smashing holiday and enjoyed all aspects of it, rooms, staff, beach, entertainment.
