Bungalows where clean and quite well equipped.
Kenny (entertainment guy) was a star very funny. Group of Scots & English we met where great fun.
Good value for the money we paid. Not a great choice of food, but there was well cooked and presented.

Having booked a "1 key" holiday bungalow resort our expectations were low but we were very pleasantly surprised!
Our bungalow was spotless and quite reasonably equipped.
The grounds, pool, pathways etc. were all well maintained (it is the first time we have seen garden hedges made from well trimmed Hibiscus.)
The food was certainly very acceptable, always hot and frequently replenished - not always, we may add, with the original dish but always with a perfectly acceptable alternative.
The salad selection both at lunchtime and a dinner was varied daily: some of the salads were somewhat "strange" to British taste but very tasty. One must always be prepared for dishes to be not quite the same as served "at home" - that's half the fun of travelling. It was a pleasure to see the kitchen staff, including the Chef, wiping the buffet surfaces whenever they appeared to replenish the dishes.
The serving staff were great - dirty plates did not hang around on your table - knife and fork down, plate gone......
Our Animation guy (Kenny) was a very charming multi-lingual chap who did his best with a mixed bunch of type/nationalities etc., but there was little he could do to motivate those who did not was to be motivated!
The only real down side to the holiday was that Beach Flor is in the middle of what we can only call an industrial resort for tourists, hence our comment that we would not go there again.

This is an amendment to our first report. The mouse must have slipped, because no way could we call the food 5* so his report amends it to 3* - all other comments remain the same.
Would make one additional comment : the social area is NOT separated from the pool area so socialising, especially in the evening, was difficult for those holidaymakers with toddlers as they had to be watched every second.

We stayed for 2 weeks. They keep the place really lovely and clean, but you have to be up by 8.15 to get a sun bed, people start putting towels on from 6 then a lot of them go to the beach but the towels stay on the beds ready for when they return later in the afternoon.
The food is adequate you can always find something to eat, after 2 weeks the food is boring but you have to remember that this is only a 2 star I think.
I would go back.
Taxis in to Maspalomas are just under 3 euros which is very good and the taxis come to hotel about every 5 to 10 mins so there is never a need to ring one, also there is a courtesy bus to take you to the beach.

Green Oasis Maspalomas....Best bit of advice I could give to anyone thinking of going here....Ask on arrival for a room in D Block....A bit away from the madding crowd, however the advantages far outway !!!!

Sorry but to stop anyone having a horrable holiday, dont go to this hotel! Since it was catered for germans, the staff were not very nice, they would snatch your dinner plates from you before you were finished. The food was horrable because, it was catered or germans! We felt the germans were always really nasty to us UK travellers. The entertaiment was really bad and we didnt understand it, but one member of the entertainment team was really nice and pleasant! there was like 4 pools which was a plus side, but there was one you didnt go near cos that was german central! the gremans got all the best rooms, it was my birthday at the time and it ruined it for me! saying that i would go back to maspalomas but just to a different hotel! there was some lovely ones! apart from the hotel, it was nice but i would never go back to that hotel, and recommend that to all UK travellers.
