A block is above restaurant but only noise we heard was the ragging of sunbeds. My son was on E block and he got noise from next hotel till early hours and also he didn't have a balcony

left the hotel the first night and found nice pub at the harbour,the harbour lights.spent the weeknights there and would recomend it to everyone.the staff are very freindly the prices very resonable,considering some of the horror stories of prices we heard,and they also do good bar dinners.

amadores puerto rico area is just excellent puerto rico was very close to where we stayed and the beach and resort itself was kept very clean.resort entertainment at puerto was very good with good selection of bars and restraunts with something for everyone lovley marina there we did the trip to mogan and enjoyed a day at this beautiful little port with a small but lovley well kept beach.however amadores was my favourite ,the beach there is just gorgous,very well maintained with great facilities,lovley places to eat and we spent every day there it was very clean to high standards,and had plenty sun loungers and umbrellas for rent at reasonable prices.we hope to return to this resort again 2009 to good weather which we had for our stay here. we would highly recommend puerto rico / amadores area and will return!

This was 5th time at Puerto Rico, there is not much to do here except eat and drink. You are still pestered all the time by time share touts, this time it is trying to get you to go to a shopping centre but they take you to a time share selling centre - please ignore them they just spoilo your holiday

The resort its self was fantasic, everyone was so friendly. Gloria Palace is situated a short taxi ride to either the Commercial Centre or the Europa Centre, there is something for everybody in each. Also had some brilliant food while we were out.
Both the beaches are nice but Amadores is breath taking, the sand isnt hot and sticky. There is plenty of shops and bars to choose from there aswell.
Overall we will definately be returning to the hotel. We had a brilliant time

Resort very quiet, perfect for us, plenty of lovely beach front reataurants. Lovely walk to puerto rico if you need something a bit more lively, but not my cup of tea. However did find couple of lovely reataurants in p.r. and the walk along the footpath is woth it.

Amadores area was lovely and surrounded by mountains.At night time it looks gorgeous with all the hotels lit up. Has a man made beach, very clean but could get busy especially at week-ends when the locals arrive.Plenty of sun beds and umbrella's though. Some nice places to eat down at the beach area, but not all of them opened at night and some close by 9.30/10pm.. London Pride was good and worth a visit.You can take the coastal path to walk round to Porto Rico, worth doing as lovely views, and there's a bar on route where you can stop for a drink or one of their ice creams. Amadores is a quiet resort but we preferred it to Porto Rico, you can take a taxi there for 3 Euro's if you want to visit, very effiecient taxi serice in the area. We would return to Amadores.

Purpose built man made beach and facilities - very clean and well thought out. During the daytime quite busy - extremely busy at weekends - quieter at nights but more than enough good restaurants open. Nightlife at Puerto Rico a short taxi ride away if you want that sort of thing
