The apartments are the best we have stayed in. They are very clean & contain all you need for a self catering holiday - pots, pans, cutlery, crockery, fridge, cooker & oven.
There are 2 Spar S/mkts within 300 yds.

The apartments are in a lovely quiet spot & the only draw back regarding the location is that although it is only a short walk (approx 400yds) to the promenade it is down a fairly steep hill, but take your time, its worth it.

The drinks and the food in the bar are very reasonably priced & the staff are very frieldly & helpful.

We will definately go back to stay here.

Well quel suprise, after a lot of fuss with another Major tour operator, I decided to go it alone, something we havent done since having children. Seen some other scary stories on Holiday truch (you can never please everyone), this looked good, a bit suprised as we had stayed at plush Iberostars before, but as the days progressed we realised we had found a little Gem.

Very frienly, most people staying there had the same ideology, keep to them selves or have a chat if you want, kids made several sets of friends over the 2 weeks, we even went out for a meal with 2 other families one night, however no pressure to join in!

Food at bar was 100% for lunch time, drinks and food decent prices, although I did tongue in cheek pass a comment on the 1 euro bags of crisps on the bar top were a bit on the heavy side 2.50 euor large beer or glass of wine (try lanzarote local wine it is better than spanish)

Cleaners brill, toilets pristine, showers & luggage store for late flights home, maintainance guys everywhere they fix things very quick.

little rowdy lads ( cam with mum & dad) next doors had quietened down next day, think word to reception did the trick.

location great, old town (lovely) 20 minute walk (try the new coast path (follows on from scuba snorkelling lagoon to righ of Fariones)

taxi to whale musuem marina 5 euros (puerto Calero),you cant fault the food anywhere, top marks to Dolce vita on main drag, dont miss the 3 resturants on the hill overlooking old town port (middle one mega).

Pool great, Please please Oceano, more parasol bases, as there are plenty of beds, however usual 8.30 rush to put out the towels, although I did mention this to them about reserving sunbeds, its the norm anywhere, I reckon they should have a big baskey near pool, and put twice a day all unoccupied towels in it , as a courtesy to all guests.

Room fine, couldt be bothered paying for Tv so take a radio!, who wants to watch tv.

sky tv in bar brill 4 TVs.

cant remember all the staff names, however the gentlman serving late at night was very courteous as were all the bar staff.

pps the water park was a disaster 2 hour queues at peak time so we gave up and taxi to Teguise to body board!, good tip, get the free bus there and a 2 euro taxi down to Teguise! haha thatll teach em foe not looking after there paying customers.

We have just returned from a super holiday at Club Oceano. The accommodation is extremely good with nice, spotlessly clean apartments. The whole complex is extremely well looked after and the staff are extremely competent and attentive. During our stay the staff had to deal with a party of young people who were causing a bit of disruption (mainly youthful exuberance) and they dealt with them in a firm but friendly way. Once the youngsters were spoken to, there were no further problems. It was good to know that the staff do actually listen to their clients. The pool, terrace, bar and restaurant are all extremely clean and well looked after. The bar food is of a very good standard and well priced.

The complex is within a few minutes walk of all the bars, restaurants and shop of Puerto del Carmen and the old town is only a few minutes walk away.

All in all, a super holiday and good value for money.

We will definitely return!

Apartments very clean and spacious, pool area well kept bar serves lovely well presented food, salads club sandwiches etc.

The only complaint I have is regarding a group of loud teenagers that ascended on the complex for the last three days of my holiday they took over the pool area swearing and shouting and spoiled it for other guests.

The staff didn't do much to sort the problem out.

Very clean and well equipped apartment in a very nice complex.
The staff very friendly and helpful. The girl on reception was English and had a good knowledge of the area.

We did not use the bar or eat there so can not comment.

The apartments have flat screen TVs which cost 10 euruos for the week all the English channels. Water always red hot kitchen had everything including toaster. There was an ironing board and kettle. Bathroom very nicely tiled and spotless.

Recption would booked you a taxi (12 euros to airport)and reconfirm your flights.

The Princess Ico apartments around the corner same firm looked nice all south facing.

The Oceano ones do not all face south ours never really got the sun.

Definitely would use them again.

We had another great holiday at Club Oceano. The place had only just reopened after having a refit. (I thought it was great even before the refit but now it is even better!). The bar has been extended and the pool is even better with roman steps at the shallow end. The place is really clean and the maids are really good (most of them can speak English). We all love the place and we all think of it as home from home. Most of the staff are there year after year and treat us all as old friends. It is a really lovely friendly place and everyone is great to deal with.

This is 3rd time that I have stayed in these appartments over several years.

The rooms are fine & I find the location ideal for PDC. They are in easy walking distance to the old town or the strip ( Avenida de las Playas).

There are no lifts & appartments are on 3 floors. On our latest visit we were disturbed by a large party who took over the bar & pool area. They were very noisy, swore loudly & made other inapropriate remarks for a family location & failed to control their children, kicking balls against walls. The staff took no action & the rest of the guests were left to suffer.

We have been to Puerto del Carmen before but always booked via one of the High Street shops. We were therefore a little worried about booking direct with Ocean Club Holidays but it was so easy and it was great actually talking to someone who knew the accommodation and the area. They were so helpful.

The apartments are just as they described them to us, beautifully clean and spacious. The maids come in 3 times a week and they are really thorough. We had a leaking kettle and we told the staff and it was replaced within an hour! We were so impressed.

The complex is only a short walk from the front and the old town. There is a really nice family atmosphere and there were children for mine to play with. They have a barbecue some evenings and that is good fun.

All the guys out there are really helpful and made us feel really welcome. My family can't wait until we go back again.

For a self catering holiday the apartments were the best I have ever stayed in.

The bar food was excellent and the staff were very friendly and although it was our first time here, everybody else seemed to come back year after year.

Excellent location, only 5 mins from the beach but far enough away from the bars/clubs not to here them all night long!

I would definitely stay at Club Oceano again - great value for money.
