I have been going to the Timor Sol hotel for the past 5 years. I would highly recommend it.
Great location, so much to do. Constant entertainment. Not fancy but very clean and convenient to everything. We have our own laundry and small supermarket you can save a bundle of money and cook for yourself when you get tired of overeating.
A million choices of where to eat...and the hotel meals are surprisingly tasty. I never run out of things to do.
Meet wonderful new friends from all over the world. Take occasional tours. Or jump on a local bus...I enjoy my time there and now stay for 3 months. It has become my second home and I love sharing it with friends...a great reasonable getaway.
A delightful beach and a wonderful promenade for endless walking...fun and comfy...you could pay a lot more and not have as nice a time...very kid friendly...I go in the winter months so its relatively quiet except for vacation weeks...I liked it so much I decided to buy a place there...enjoy...

The location of this Hotel is brillant all the bars nearby and the Marina just a 100yards away and the beech across the road.
But the hotel is very tired looking and badly needs a revamp as well as the grounds. As I stayed in a lot of sol hotels before I was expecting better facilities but over all it wasn't a bad place to stay and would go back there purely on the location.
If you don't like the supermarket(big shop) there's a Lidl just down the road

These apt's are located in a fantastic location right on the beach, and very close to Benalmadema's very beautiful marina.Thats the best bit, we stayed here in august and with no air con. you would need to leave windows open at night, snag is the noise from the bars forces you to close them again ,,.NO SLEEP.
these apt's. need a major refurbishment, hotel staff were ok.Pool was nice , but you pay for the sun loungers.

Fantastic location shame about the hotel and staff. We went has a family and they gave my son and his girlfriend ( both 16 ) a room to them selves. They may have wanted it ha ha ha but we asked for a family room. The place stunk of sewrage and one morning we woke to find smoke bellowing through the corridors. We were on the 12th floor and panic set in with everyone. I went down the flight of stairs thinking it was a fire. Mothers were carrying there babies and we were told. "We are only fumeigating for cock-roaches " sorry my language was awful.Never again will we go back to this stinking smelly hotel.

not a very good sol hotel, very basic, supermarket in hotel sold very old out of date food, hygene standards
were disgusting, wouldn't want to visit this hotel ever again
