From the review board got worried about going out on a night so mainly stayed in hotel!!!However, throughout the day we walked round the beach front and to the marina I found it very picturesque and there are plenty of restaurants and shops.

After a while I found the shop owners a bit over powering and you couldnt walk anywhere without been hassled!!! My husband is a big sports fan and found a Euro bar that shows anything from golf to rugby its only five mins away in a taxi and only cost approx 3 dinar!!

Watch out for the motorists....they wont watch for you!!!

yasmine hammamet is purpose built there are a few shops on the way to the marina and across the wide road along the beach, the marina is just a corridor of cafes, the prices are inflated, haggle as hard as you can and you can have a copy of a man. u football shirt for £22 originals in sheffield are only £25, the beach itself is sandy the sea is warm but you are constantly bugged by beach sellers

Yasmine Hammamet, Tunisia. The resort was clean and we felt very safe walking around. There were lots of facilities including an ice rink! The beach wasn't particularly clean and had enormous ants running around everywhere. The standard of the sunbeds was pretty poor. The marina was particularly nice and we would definately return.

The resort itself was also very clean there was hardly any litter about the handy thing was the medina was close to the chich khan which had all the shops in they also put on entertainment her on a night for people who fancied a change. The beach wasn't as good as the being in the hotel but one of the animation team would go there every morning and join in the activities on the beach as each hotel had their own allocated place on the beach but overall the resort was good. (i never really left the hotel that much though so i can't really say much!)

The resort is very clean and it reminded me of France. There aren't many bars and restaurants as entertainment is centred around your hotel.

The Marina and Medina are nice to walk around. The theme park at the Medina is worth a visit. It's only small but has some good rides.

There is an ice rink, but we didn't visit that.

The only thing that wasn't so great about the holiday was the beach. The first week it was fine however on visiting the beach again, we found it with think mud all along it which was being removed with large diggers.

I would deffinately recommend the hotel to anybody that is lookin for a great holiday.

Yasmine Hammamet is a new resort, but it is very clean and we wandered all over.

Visit the Medina and have a snake draped around your neck for the photos.

Don't forget to barter, we aimed for 10% of the asking price and was normally successful!! Always ask the price if you are tempted by the horse and carriage, we forgot one time ( a bit worse for wear) and got charged£50.00 for a ten minute ride!

If you would like to eat out we recommend going down to the port as thats where a lot of the eateries are and its very pretty!!!

A quick ride on the land train will take you to the Medina in Hammamet and you will be dragged into every shop, but it's great fun!! Can't wait to get back.

The beach are had lovely golden sand, but the hotels section was not as clean as others, cigarette ends, empty bottles were not cleared aaway. The waters edgewas covered in weed washed,at the time we were there we had to endure the sound of lorries&JCB's going up and down collecting this. Not the relaxing atmosphere you want.

The marina/harbour is very picturesque and worth a vist and also within the resort we told about a theme park and water park, lots to do if you are into this type of thing, but not what we wanted a beach/relaxation holiday.
