Basar Hotel*** pronounced (Basher Hotel) has 33 rooms set in three blocks around a large pool, with gardens laid with shrubs and flowers. The Hotel is about 10 minutes walk to Dalyan centre.
The friendly staff (approx 12) are rightly proud of their hotel, as they keep the grounds and rooms spotless.
Each room has double glased windows with fly screens, air conditioning, mini bar, safe (extra charge for key), television (BBC world news), en-suite toilet, wash basin, shower and hair dryer.
For breakfast expect continental style buffet, choice of cereals, bread, boiled eggs, cheese, meat, jam, honey, tea and coffee.
Evening meals consist of meze, soup, a main meal with fruit after.
The quality of the food was excellent (we wanted to bring the chef home with us!)
During the day time a large selection of snacks were available at a reasonable cost.
Bar drinks reasonable with friendly barman who works until the last guest goes to bed.
There is no evening entertainment other than cd player behind the bar playing music in the background.
If you want a relaxing holiday with friendly attentive staff then we can recommend this hotel. For a lively but not rowdy evening then Dalyan centre is 10 minutes walk away.
