Returned here after 2 years and all the staff are the same cheerful helpful and friendly people you can meet.
The hotel is still the same although the gardens have matured nicely and they have acquired a small boat which they use for trips up to the lake. The jetty. Restaurant has also been extended. Excellent place to stay and would recommend to anyone can’t wait to return again. We also did a sailing trip on the gunay 1 this is my review.
When we booked this from the UK on line with Ingrid we were not really expecting too much as the price was so cheap. 135TL p/p. they picked us up by car at 9.00 from hotel for the 20 min drive to gocek to meet the boat. Once there we boarded to apple tea, fruit and Turkish delight and the most wonderful friendly crew of 3... There were only 10 of us on board /apparently this ship unlike other only ever takes max 12 people so you can have loads of space. We were out sailing for around 10 hours which included 4 stops for swimming. Fishing etc.
Lunch was included and was plentiful. Also tea and biscuit stop and balaclava. Then back to our hotel by 8pm. so from the hotel to hotel was 11 hours for 135TL each WOW best trip ever. Highly recommend

This small family run hotel has around 30 rooms located in 2 story blocks.
The room was large and consisted of a firm double bed,two bedside chest of drawers, small dressing table(no chair) to sit and use mirror, 2 armchairs, wardrobe with drawers on bottom so plenty of storage space and a TV in some not all rooms. It is a good size bathroom with walk in shower(no bath) and hair dryer. There is a safe in the room you can hire. I do believe the rooms could do with a small fridge though. The maids cleaned the room everyday and gave you fresh towels if you needed them. Some days they will make your bed up in flowers.
The hotel itself is situated on the riverfront with only a 10 min walk into town. There is a large decking area where you can sit to have your meals if you wanted instead of the restaurant, or just relax there to watch the wildlife and boats go by perfect.
The swimming pool is a good size and always kept clean, there is a small bar to get your drinks from. The hotel has WiFi, the best place to use it is by the bar but some rooms pick up the signal too, a bit slow but does the job.
The food was very good. Staff were all friendly from the manager down to the gardener.
The only downfall may be for people who don't like dogs or have a fear of them as they are always about. No problem for most as they are very friendly.
If I was to give this hotel a star rating it would have to be a 3. Would I return, most defiantly, we loved every minute of it and made some great new friends.
