Best for location, friendly staff and spotless rooms,

I have stayed in Turunc for many years at various apartments and hotels and I have to say that the Zeybek is the best for location, friendly staff and spotless rooms, clean bedding and towels every day or couple of days depending on the day of the week.

I have now stayed at the Zeybek for my holidays for the last 4 years and I can honestly say I have not one complaint, to have your leisurely Turkish breakfast in the morning overlooking the sea has to be the best way to start every day! I would happily recommend to my family and friends and in fact have done and they too feel as I do - a perfect location and hotel.

The Zeybek Hotel is two steps from the beach where as a hotel guest the sunbeds are free. We booked direct with hotel and asked for a sea view which was lovely,we were on the top floor and the balcong was quite big with table and two chairs.The room was slightly larger than we usually get in Turkey and very clean but basic. Rooms cleaned every day and plenty of clean towels left.
We thought the Turkish Breakfast was quite poor as there was no melon or fruit juice and no one cooked any omelettes or eggs while we were there. The coffee served at breakfast was terrible but we had taken sachets of coffee and used the hot water. If you have to pay extra for breakfast don't - just eat elswhere. We didn't have an evening meal there so I can't comment on that but the lunch snacks were fine.
We never used the pool as the was only one sun umbrella and it is quite small but the beach is a few steps away.
Staff were all nice, they even gave us a gift if a tin of honey when we left and I would definately stay here again.

The Zeybec could not be in a better place, right on the sea front with a fantastic view over the bay.We stayed 2 weeks the begining of June and the hotel was fairly quiet. The staff were so helpful (as most are)and nothing was to much bother. breakfast was typical turkish, bread jams cucumber tomatoes and bread but you also got boiled eggs or omelet depending on the day of the week. The rooms were cleaned everyday and fresh towels and bedding every other day. The pool area was kept spotless, it has a small poolside bar and seating looking out over the bay, the only fault I found was lack of sunbeds and umberela's, I suppose this could be because it is litrally 10 feet from the beach but I much prefere the pool, but you do get a fantastic breeze all day. We normally have aircon as a must on our holidays in Turkey but our room faced the sea and we left the balcony door open at night and it was loverly, only needed the aircon our last 2 nights as the temperature had gone up. All in all the Zeybec is a lovely place to stay, a little dated but the location more than makes up for it.
