Hotel Dana Beach in Hurghada is lovely - best looking on Travel Republic site. It is 5star 3 pools and directly on its own beach. Staff all fantastic, food excellent and about 4 restaurants to choose from inc also an Italian and a fish restaurant where you get 50% off.
Huge garden with a lake and you can go down to beach in a boat but walk is only 5mins. Request a room with either terrace (ground floor) or balcony as some rooms don't have anywhere to sit out although they are starting to remedy this. Thoroughly reccomended!!!!!

Perhaps you can give us some ideas on what you want from your holiday, so we can give you advice for the area that might suit you both, remote hotels, lively hotels, near to beach, museums and culture, whether you would like a nile cruise on its own, or twinned with another part of Egypt. Also whther you want to be within walking distance of a town or get taxi cabs into an area, that kind of thing
