Have stayed in Es Castell, but there was only 2 of us. Have you tried googling Accommodation Mahon?

Good luck. We also love Menorca although we haven't been back for a few years now.

I booked the Royal Mahon in the end - I figured it's only 2 nights and basically we only want to sleep and leave luggage there so I'm sure it will do. Still interested in knowing if anyone has stayed in Mahon with children, where to go eat etc at night. I have been several times in the day and know the layout of the town, market, museums, boat trips etc. But never been there at night. We prefer to eat Spanish, tapas etc and then sit and watch the world go by outside a bar or do a concert or similar. Have spent evenings in Cuitadella and loved it the later it got. Any suggestions of where to go at night in Mahon with a 10 and 14 year old welcome. Did wonder if worth going down to Es Castell for evening? :cheers

Es Castell is more relaxing with children in the Harbour and close by via regular Bus.

In Mahon if you like Spanish eat TAPAS at the place you fancy best . Bar American in main square or if dressed properly Ars cafe

Ars Cafe( Plaza del Principe 12) is a very inviting Cafe Bar & Restaurant. Often missed by the visitor it is on the beautiful Plaza del Principe.

Streetlevel is an attractive chic city cafe area serving breakfast, lunch and dinner ( Menu del Dia available ) while down stairs is an atmospheric arched stone ceilings vault with bar and stage for live music ( Fridays and Saturdays )

Just took a look at location of apartments on map - you are already on the road to Ars cafe Carre de Carmen! just walk towards town and you will hit the Plaza - Ars is on the LHS.

That road has nice little browsing shops too.

You are also next to the Casino Yacht Area so you can do no worse than watch the big Yachts and sights while at Pizzeria Roman who has great pizzas at prices not to be found in that location. Cafe "oh la la!" for breakfast again watching the sun stream over the harbour early morning. If you want to treat yourself then Cocktails at MARIVENT ( not Miramar sorry my typo ) early evening is just 5 mins from the apartments

4 Weeks and counting for me Yippeee
