honeymoon in goa ?????? help

hi to all
i m getting married in nov this year
was planning for honeymoon in goa
never been there, would like little privacy and a good beach too
wont be able to afford 5 stars etc
please advice with good places and romantic beaches if you been there. i have heard about 'palolam' beach thats all i know about goa
your advice will be much appriciated

i will add more detail
i would like a quite beach but i dont know its in north goa or south goa
i can spend upto £150 per day and that is inclusive of food
and i think we will be going between 15 to 30 nov and for a week or 10 days maximum

Wow, where to start? There are very swish, private hotels like the Taj, Leela Palace etc but they are expensive so I'll forget about those. I would book a good quality tourist hotel and take trips out to the more quiet beaches. You can also hire a beach hut for a few nights. None of it is very expensive.

I think you need to do a bit of homework and decide whether you want quieter South Goa or more lively North Goa. Once you've made that choice, I'm sure people will have loads of suggestions on hotels, trips, lonely beaches and restaurants etc.
