its about 2.5 km from fig tree bay as its in PERNERA not Protaras it is a couple of hundred yards to the nearest beach, Pernera beach is about 1km away [ quite nice but not as loud or busy as fig tree] take a look at the Pernera resort reports
you are a short walk from the main street of Penera where you will find a selection of Taverna's shops, car rental,etc or 2km from the main strip in Protaras

Thomas Cook sold it as Protaras - only noticed on here it may be out of town!

all the T/O's sell it as Protaras it is not only Cyprus where this happens but all over it just seem worse here as they will sell say Laki as Pafos and thats about 30km difference, i always check out where the hotel is before i consider booking it as i would not want to be too far from my selected area on the other hand i would not wish to end up I'm the middle of bar street
