As Judith and I were saying early -January is a depressing month! I have just dug all the bookings I made for April and put them together in a file so I don't lose them all! Now I'm beginning to look forward to it! We are going to Hong Kong for 3 nights ( Metropark Hotel), Saigon for 4 nights( Renaissance Riverside) and Bangkok ( Landmark ) for 4 nights. I have been to Hong Kong once before but if anyone has stayed at the Metropark I would love to hear about it. Also any restaurant recs.
Never been to Saigon- some of you have already helped with ideas but I am always open to more! Anybody got any restaurants they liked? I like to try the local dishes where ever I go.
Have been to the Landmark before - fantastic hotel. When we fly into BKK it should be the new airport so it will be interesting to see what its like and how quickly we can get into the city( mind you "quickly" is not a word often used for the roads in Bangkok is it!!)
