Hiya! I'm not too sure what you mean by "trendy" Puerto del Carmen is a holiday resort, so if you are looking for the type of clubs/bars/restaurants etc that you will find in major UK cities, they are just not here!! Having said that there are a number of very good quality restaurants, lots mentioned in the restaurant thread on here. A popular bar in the old town harbour is San Miguel, and you might like La Ola Cafe Bar next to the Casino on the main strip.

Hi I was just wondering if there was anyone else on here with anything to add?

Of course I'm not looking for bars/clubs that we are used to do in London and by trendy I do not mean 'poncy'. Me & my friends love a bit of cheese as much as anyone else however just not everynight..... I was hoping there might be a few bars that play chilled/house music? Maybe a nice beach bar??

Any comments would be appreciated.

Don't worry about a thing mate, PDC has it all for you, Head for Centro Antlatico, (That's an area dedicated to clubs and music bars) if you get bored in there head for Paradise beach or in the other direction Routa 66 and Tropical.
There is also Ceasers as well mate
So you have no need to worry about haveing a few beers and a dance mate

also try la ola on the main avenida,its a restaurant and chill bar with day beds and pool,also nicki beach in centro atalantico is good for the music and there used to be a bit more upmarket nightclub in the harbour area,cant remember its name but it was very popular with the spanish/canary locals,and try ceasars nightclub,under new management now and they advertise different djs etc,thats on the main strip roughly opposite the fariones hotel,enjoy your hols

Don't know where you are staying but try Cafe Del Carmen,, Its right at the begining of the strip,, San Antonio end,, on top of the Spar.. I think this is what you are looking for... Not cheap though!
