Gang of us are thinking of doing New York and Vegas next year.....the person supposed to be organising it mentioned a price of £700 pp for 5 days in N Y and 5 days in LV....she's away at the moment so it's been left to me to sort of pick it up as people need to book annual leave and want details.....I can't for the life of me find anything close to that price which was apparently a package.....I know we can wait the 2 weeks until she returns (she's in OZ and has been for the last 10 days)......I personally think she's made a mistake...that price is probably not including taxes etc......anyone got any ideas
DIY would be fine....I'm just looking at options really as this person just mentioned this offer then promptly forgot about it while the rest of us are in limbo
I did find this company offering 8 day package for £669 but it's not in the month we want and I wouldn't want to stay in any of the hotels mentioned for Vegas......

There are other companies offering similar packages for around £850 again 8 nights but nearly all are staying in Circus Circus or Golden Nugget

I see there is a price starting at £699 on that site, but the flights alone are over £600 and I wouldn't stay at those hotels either.

Well this is it Luci....I couldn't pin her down to a month let alone a date....It all started with this couple who got married there last year wanting to go back because one of them had a big birthday....fine we'll all come along.....prob was the birthday was mid Aug so no-one wanted to go in that heat......so plans were changed to go either Sept or Oct.....no good to me if I'm booking days off...I need a firm date.....so that's all I know....sometime in Sept or Oct
Can't believe that price at all. If you think it's gonna average a minimum £50 a night for hotels (NY very expensive, Vegas cheaper) that's £500 just for hotels, I'd reckon on another £500 for flights and that's assuming you get some kind of a deal. Can't imagine you could do that trip for less than £1000 unless you stay in 'questionable' hotels, particularly in NY where there appears to be a lot of bad hotels!!
