Hi everyone, my brother and family have recently moved to somewhere near Varna having taken the plunge, they have been in touch to tell us to come over and see them, I need to find any cheap return flights preferably from Manchester but only staying over for a couple of days, I haven't found anything on the net and was hoping that someone on this forum can give us any advice. They are loving it and now have a horse and a goat? and have met a lot of the locals who they say have made them feel most welcome. They have said they would sort out a car to pick us up at Varna airport, but I just can't seem to find anything on the net except for May onwards, I cannot stretch my stay any longer for work commitments, please help. Hi, you could look at http://www.air.bg who have flights to Varna from Manchester, but must warn you, some are coming via Gatwick and others are going to Sofia with a wait of 4 hours and change of plane, or you could try their flight, from Gatwick to Varna direct. another option is B.A do a direct flight Gatwick to Varna. Try first direct but they only start in june.
BA are good but seem to be expensive at the moment for all flights there.
Bulgarian airlines is another option, my parents are going using them in a weeks time, got the flights for £120 each.

But very few people want to go to Bulgaria in March, so they should be giving flights away.
This is because just about everyone knows it's going to be cold, and the Black Sea resorts are closed down apart from a handful of hotels such as the Admiral in Golden Sands and the Grand Hotel Varna in St Konstantin.
