When we arrived at the hotel, we checked in to our one bedroom apartment. The room was very clean and tidy and the maid service was excellent.
The food was of a high standard with a different special night every night (e.g. Italian night and carvery night).
The staff were friendly but not as friendly as i had expected, they did try to help but most of them couldnt speak English! which was a bit of a pain.
The location was good and was only about 5 minutes drive away from the 'strip' of bars in Protaras.
The entertainment was very cheap and very tacky. There were shows nightly and a regular daytime entertainment programme.The entertainment was the only downfall to what was a great holiday.

We stayed for two weeks AI. Thoroughly enjoyed holiday although very hot!!
Hotel staff were friendly and helpful although my 12 year old would disagree - she found them not as helpful to children.
The beach was further away than we had been led to believe and it was more of a pebbly cove although it is a lovely walk along the bay to fig tree bay (Make sure to cover yourselves in sunscreen!!)
Our room was lovely and was cleaned daily.
The food was plentiful and very nice.
Pool bar served excellent 'toasties' which we took with us when we went for walks along with bottled water (included with AI). Local alcoholic drinks were fine we found and didn't appear to be watered down- cocktails were FAB !!
Entertainment was better than we have had before with AI. Mandy Moon really encouraged participation for the sought after prize of 'superstar tee-shirt' kids entertainment early eve was hysterical (more tea vicar) and thoroughly enjoyed big money bingo.
Had to be around pool by 7 if you wanted to catch a bed with parasol as these were limited and went early (definitely need shade in afternoon) although plenty of shade available at pool bar.
Could use facilities of apartments next door which were much quieter than around main pool.

This is the second time in this Hotel. Absolutly Superb.
Food is excellent. Staff are Brilliant.
Entertainment Every Day and Night. Pools are Spotless.
Away from any Town Noise and Cars. Close to Beach.
Great Place to meet new friends and families.
Beer, Wine, Cocktails and Soft Drinks are unlimited and Cold.
Rooms are A/C and Much Needed Weather is Faultless.
Taxi to some of the other beaches around

We always stay self catering, it suits us better being able to come and go as we please and not having to wory about what times meals are served.
We loved the location of these apartments, not too far away from any of the 'action' but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet. The hotel staff were always very helpful and the cleanliness of the apartments were excellent.
Not really able to say much about the entertainment as we only stayed around the hotel complex the one night and didnt really stay for the whole evening of entertainment. There were 7 of us staying here and everyone of us would stay in these apartments again.
We loved the location of these apartments, not too far away from any of the 'action' but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet. The hotel staff were always very helpful and the cleanliness of the apartments were excellent.

When we arrived at the Tsokkos garden apartments we were very warmly welcomed by the staff and made to feel welcome by the staff the whole two weeks, the apartment was very clean, the food was excellent well worth every penny going all inclusive, deffo will be going back to this hotel again highly recommended, THUMBS UP ALL ROUND

The Tsokkos Gardens Appt are very nice and good for families 8 of us went on our vactation it is good fun for a group plenty to do and the people were great all inclusive was exellent but like any all inclusive package you may get bored of it

We stayed at the Tsokkos gardens last year for the third time and love almost everything about it.
The rooms, although not spectacular, are a good size and are cleaned regularly and thoroughly.
The range of food is not as wide as you might find at some 5* hotels but there's something for everyone and the local dishes are well worth trying. Some of the dishes from each meal are recycled in the next one but this is the same in all A/I hotels.
I can't understand why anyone would have a problem with the location as it has everything you could need nearby and if that's not enough, the bus leaves from the top of the road to go to Ayia Napa in one direction or Paralimni in the other for about 70p (every half hour).
The staff were always cheerful and helped with anything they could so the only criticism I can think of is the entertainment. The word that springs to mind is "Amateur". Although they did their best, I got the impression that most were tourists that had decided to stay on rather than actual trained entertainers.

What I liked about the Tsokkos Gardens hotel was its fantastic blue-watered swimming pool. Trully, the location of the hotel is not perfect, but the entertainment and the helpful staff made up for it.

we stayed in the figtree apartments on an all inclusive package. food was ok but a proper meal wasnt available to us when we arrived on the first evening we got offered some unappetizing curled up sandwiches and the alcohol was watered down alot. the hotel was clean especially the pool areas and the maids worked really hard as our rooms were cleaned every day. the hotel its self was in a fab location close to the marlita beach and protaras town which was excellent for shopping and good nights out. the entertainment at the hotel however was very disappointing, not entertaining at all so we spent every evening in protaras town.( why do holiday reps think we love to go on holiday and listen to greece or saturday night fever etc.) the hotel staff were very polite and worked long hours. we were told when we booked everything was in with the all inclusive package so we were annoyed when we had to pay for air con ( which didnt work properly in one of our rooms) and the safty deposit boxes. we would go back to protaras but not in that hotel.
