Fantastic hotel, very impressive, on a grand scale. Grounds were excellently kept, beautiful flowers.

Food in the main restaurant was very good with lots of choice. Dined in the Oriental one night but didn't seem much atmosphere. Plenty of choice of a la carte restaurants if required but we were more than happy with the Marrakesh.

Location of hotel is good but perhaps a bit further out of Sharm than some would like but it suited us as it was on the beach.

Staff were excellent, very polite and friendly. Most of them speak basic English but do appreciate a few words of Arabic.

The room cleaner was excellent and very thorough.

Couldn't find fault with anything much - apart from the Health Club which I think is privately run. Did not manage to get the free facial massage even though I booked in advance.

Not sure what the entertainment was like for kids but there seemed to be always something going on for them.

We would definitely visit this hotel again - it was a very relaxing holiday.

The reception/lobby area is very impressive. Located in this area are also the Italian, Chinese and Arabic restaurants together with a few small shops and the internet room. We had a drink in this area several times but the service can be a bit on the slow side. We tended to drink later in the evening at the terrace bar and the service began to improve as you tipped the bar staff. The Italian and Chinese restaurants were excellent and the Arabic was okay.

The food in the buffet restaurant ranged from fair to excellent and there was something for all tastes with a wide variety of dishes. There were days when the food was just fantastic only to be let down the following day when the food was less than piping hot. However, the staff were always friendly and keen to assist. Once again tipping helps.

The Tropicana restaurant and beach bar offered kebabs, pizza, burgers and salads if you were fed up with the buffet.

We did get upset tummies but it

We have young twin daughters and searched for a resort that would offer us all a good holiday with suitable accommodation and facilities that meant we could spread out and relax. This resort is vast and I rate it somewhere between 4 and 5 star. It is great for families yound children upwards.

The fact that it is all inclusive means that you do not have to plan your days in detail as meals can be taken throughout the day at a variety of retaurants, all of which we found fine.

The main tip to consider when booking at this hotel is to book either a junior suite or family room. We had a junior suite which was great (These are the newer accommodation on the resort). However, we spoke with people who had booked double rooms (the original part of the devlopment) and were not happy.

The additional benefit of booking a suite / family room is that you get access to the exec lounge. This is great with children as you have 24 hour access to snacks / drinks / milk for bottles etc and it is hardly used. This means you can sit down and have a little peace and quiet.

If you like diving the resort has a dive club. Having kids means that my wife and I have not managed to do this for the last couple of years. However, what I did was to book a shore dive on morning which meant being picked up at 8.45 being taken 10 minutes down the road, having a brief (30 minutes) - 45 minute dive - and back to the hotel by 11.45.

The only down side to the resort (as is a common complaint)are that the Russian's who stay there seem to have a superiority complex and are quite rude and arrogant. This seems to apply to those who hit the spirits for breakfast.(only a small complaint)

I would also be wary of doing financial transactions with the chaps on receptions as I was short changed by one of the men on the desk as was another couple when changing money.

You should take pleny of nappies and wipes if you have young children as the hotel does not sell these (heavens knowns why - they would make a fortune).

If you are getting a taxi to/from the airport you should pay 11-12 USD as many people pay as much as

As you walk into the lobby it feels 5*

The main waterfall pool area is lovely although the water is cold.

Your 5* feeling soon ends when you get to your room. We stayed in cluster 4 which is showing signs of its age. The room was kept clean and tidy (tip chamberman if you want extras like bath sheets and robes)

The service in the lobby area is slow you definitely can

The Hotel and its facilities were very good. The pools and surrounding areas were kept spotlessly clean. The gardens are immaculate. There were always sunbeds and umbrellas. Our room was clean and spacious and cleaned daily. The staff who worked on the beach would always move sunbeds for you etc.

However the food was nothing like 5* standard and that includes all the a la carte restaurants. The service in the restaurants was poor. The wine was rarely chilled and not topped up regularly and the idea of having 2 sittings amazed me. As a result all meals were rushed. On ocassions we were told we had to order our dessert when we ordered our starter and main course. The waiters cleared the plates away as you finished even if your companion was still eating. It reminded me of Fawlty Towers. I have complained twice in writing to the hotel but as yet have not had an acknowledgement.

Very disappointing.

As well travelled holidaymakers we found this hotel
the best we have ever encountered in every shape and form.

This is a hotel that at last has got it smack on.

Staff, hygiene, food, and facilities all 100%. We cannot
praise it enough. It should be changed to 6 star!

The only thing that could spoil it would be an invasion lager louts (usually Brits I am ashamed to say) however we saw none of this on our stay.

You will not be disappointed with this one.

The only way to describe this hotel is fantastic. The staff are just so polite and nothing is to much trouble, their only concern is that you enjoy your holiday and they will do anything to ensure that you do.

The food is delicious and the choice of a la carte food is faultless.

The rooms are cleaned every day and the beds are also changed every day and fresh towels left. We tipped the cleaner most days and he left the most wonderful towel models (swans ect).

There are so many different nationalities at the hotel so it would be difficult to please everyone with the evening entertainment but although it was sometimes repetative the animation team did their best to please everyone.

We can not wait to go back there later in the year.

We stayed in the LTI Grand Azure Hotel, Sharm el Sheikh. The hotel is massive with a huge attention to perfection. The lighting, pools, staff and marble were amazing.

The location is about 15 mins from the airport, which meant that the hotel was under the flight path. Don't let this put you off, however as, believe it or not, the view and sound of the ODD craft was fantastic.

The food was really good - loads of variety - Chinese, Arabian, Italian, seafood, etc. although you do need to book them in advance - the Chinese is particularly popular and tasty.

The temperature was about 80 to 90 every day, with winds on 2 days - still hot. The evenings can get a little chilly - a cardigan or long sleeve shirt should suffice.

The hotel staff could not have been friendlier, although they do keep forgetting to bring ordered drinks to the table, so get friendly with a couple of them and they will be your friends for life!!

Mohammad at the Bedouin tents was an amazing guy - smoking water pipes (Hubble Bubble) most evening - WHAT A HOLIDAY.

A free shuttle bus runs to and from Naama Bay every day (a few times) - Las Vegas style shops, although the shop owners are particularyly clingy, so watch out!

Anyone who says this is not 5* must be mad - it is incredible - a perfect honeymoon destination too!!!

LTI Grand Azure is a hotel not to be missed!

Rooms cleaned daily, hotel and grounds/pools immaculate, cleaned all day every day, and night.
Food - main restaurant, what a choice, always hot and nicely presented.
Other restaurants available if booked in advance. (we didn't bother - no reason to).

Located close to airport, but no problem with noise.
Short taxi ride (which is a holiday must - what an experience?) to Naama Bay for shops, restaurants, banks, open till 10 at night, nightlife etc. A bit of intimidation from few shops (mainly perfume shops) at first, but be firm and say no, its their way of life, they mean no harm, just enjoy the experience.

Would definitely love to holiday again at this hotel.
The only slight moan I have, is that the hotel (at the moment) does not change travellers cheques, but we found the most holiday reps will oblige.

For an excellent night drink at the Terrace Bar, atmosphere and staff fantastic.
Found russian tourists can be rather rude to hotel staff!
Best holiday ever.

Having read some not so good reviews of this hotel, we were a bit dubious about going there. We need not have worried! It was by far one of the best hotels we have stayed in.

The cleanliness could not be faulted, nor good the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.

The food in the main restaurant, while not always to everyone's choice, was very varied and of a good standard. What we must remember is that they are catering for many different nationalities. The a la carte restaurants were excellent, especially the Italian and could always be booked without any difficulty. The fruit chef was a treasure and must be especially thanked for his strawberries! The managers in the restaurant were so helpful and polite and some of them had a better command of the English language than the tourists. We found a few words of Arabic went a long way.

I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and we shall be going back next February.

The only downside of the holiday was Sharm el Sheikh airport.
