Have only been back for one week and have already booked to go back next August!
Arrived at hotel at 5.30 a.m and found reception staff efficient. We had a family room on the 2nd floor which was spacious with good sized wardrobes, and good sized balcony overlooking the lake. The maids came in every day and emptied the bins and would give clean towels when you requested them. The air con was very effective but a bit noisy. Would recommend using the safety deposit box in your room which cost us approx

We visited this hotel previously and it had deteriorated so much this time.
The hotel is in poor condition with ripped seats in the reception area. Glasses/cups/plates left around for days.
There is no dress code in the restaurant people wear whatever they want although in the brochure (and in the hotel) there are signs up saying that men should wear long trouser in the evening.
Queueing for an hour before the pool area opens to get a sunbed is a joke, so we went to the beach.
Other people let their kids run up and down the corridors screaming and shouting until the early hours of the morning. The majority of the parents there seems to just leave their kids to get up to whatever they wanted.
It was one of the worst holidays I have ever had and I definitely won't be going back!!

Lovely hotel, great rooms and nice entrance and reception area
Food, choice for young children could have been better apart from that good selection for adults.
Staff could have smiled more though!
Bar staff could also have smiled more and taken the time to serve children looking for soft drinks. They appeared to focus more on serving adults.
Entertainment was ok but some nights poor!
Lots of activties though for children and adults throughout the day
Great hotel though for young children as they can wander around at night as the pool area is closed off.
Location of hotel - 10 minute walk to beach area and the hotel also lays on a bus during the day
Would I go back - yes but want to see happier staff and better entertainment

Just come back from this hotel very nice everything was clean.
Would recommended on this hotel but the entertainment was terrible every night most people were talking about it.
We ate out every night as we were self catering but did try the hotel food half board twice which was lovely plenty off selection to choose from.
The area off the hotel was great out off the hustle and bustle of everything so no noisy traffic etc.
The waiters and hotel staff was very friendly and the rooms was cleaned most days. Clean sheets twice, three times a week,
I would go back to this hotel but maybe in a few years as I like to have a change.
The pools were brill 6 in total we used the ones across the road much warmer.

Fantastic family hotel always something going on for the children.. My 7 year old enjoyed the kids club and the staff in the creche for my 2 year old were fantastic.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lagotel. This was our second visit to Alcudia as it is a great resort for families. We went with our two boys aged 5 yrs and 15 months.
The room was lovely and cleaned every day and sheets changed at least 3 times a week. The food was great loads of choice every night and the desserts, well it was a crime not to have one!!! All staff were very friendly especially in the dining room always made a fuss of the children.
Entertainment was good although we've had enough bingo to last us till next years hols!!! but overall it was good, the bugs bunny club was fab our 5 year old took part in everything. There were 6 pools we went to the ones over the road they were warmer!!
the reps were all great and we must make a aspecial mention for Donna the swimkids instructor she was fantastic our son loved the lessons and now asks to go swimming every day!! Also Pascuale and Fabien - very comical!!
The only thing to let down this hotel was the location, as it was away from centre of Alcudia however only cheap busride down the road and you're there.
We would definately recommend this hotel to people with young children, as so much for them to get involved in.

This was our second visit to the Lagotel and we were not disapointed at all, this time we stayed self catering although we did pay and visit the restaurant for breakfast which was really good and fresh.
The self catering apartments are an excellent size, clean and the fridge was a real asset. The air conditioning was a real bonus and worked a treat.
All the hotel staff were helpful and there were plenty of them, some of the staff we remember from 2 years ago so that tells me its a great place.
It is only a short 10 mins walk to the beach but the free bus from the hotel dropped you off and picked you up again. The entertainment was good kids mini disco then bingo that the kids can have a go at and then the main entertainment and finally music/disco for the last half hour, everything quiet at 12.00 which is good for children.

I have been to this hotel for 2 years running and me and my family are prepared to go a third because the whole hotel was perfect and there never nothing to do!
The entertainment was spectacular at night and there was something good on everynight and every act was suitable for the whole family!. In the mornings and early afternoon the reps would take the kids or teenagers for some fun whether it was football or games in the pool! Also in the mornings and afternoons the hotel entertainment staff would play games with the adults e.g waterpolo and somedays there would be a water aerobics!
The hotel location was fabulous with the beach just 5 minutes down the road and the local family pub even closer you couldn't go wrong and there was a Burger King just down the road so you could always eat out on that odd night.
The hotel food was spectacular and honestly it was the best food you could ask for there was everything! Each piece of food was brilliant and it felt like the best food on the island !!
The hotel was very clean and the maids worked what seemed like all day to keep the place clean and they did a very good job.

FOOD: Food was excellent different choice every night I'm vegetarian and managed to eat well also have a very fussy 7 year old and he ate well.
HOTEL: The hotel was very very clean, maid service everyday apart from sundays. Maid was very friendly our 2 year old loved her. Our room was nice size overlooking lake. Hotel is about 10 min walk from beach or they run a hotel bus for you. It's near few shops selling gifts etc. On site supermarket good although ladies in there could be a little friendlier. Sell everything or just down the road is Spar which is a little cheaper. Taxi's can be booked at reception, Alcudia market on a sunday and tuesday is good you can get soom cheap gifts to take home.
EXCURSIONS: We went to the pirates show,this was excellent, children loved it, it includes as much food and drink as you want just keep calling them over. Aqualand was really good theres a kiddy section with slides as well as adult slides. Marineland - this was good but could have stayed a little longer, dolphin and sea lion show is fantastic.
HOTEL STAFF: All hotel staff were very friendly, people on Reception were good very helpful, Maids friendly, Bar staff/Waiters very friendly and funny. Animation team fantastic, Pasquale, Fabien,Dena and Tania(sorry guys if I've not spelt your names right) they always kept us entertained, daytime activities for adults include rifle shooting, archery, darts, kids activities with Tania are pepsi game, darts, golf, t-shirt painting (

Hi we are just back from the Lagotel Hotel. This hotel is great for a good family holiday. I went with my husband, son 13 and daughter 18mths. The food was of very good standard different menu every night.
Never had a problem finding something to eat even for the wee one. The hotel itself was spotless. Maid service every day. The staff was very nice and full of fun always had time for the wee ones. The kids clubs was excellant my teenage son loved the wavelength club and our daughter loved hers.
The entertainment was good. The only thing I would say about the hotel was look out for the mossies. I was bitten quite a lot. The tables near the front seem to be the worse for it. So take my advise and sit near the doors.
