I'm kinda anticipating a problem here . . but am wondering if its happened to anyone else and if anyone has some advice . . .
Basically we booked a holiday online with a reputable high street travel agent - thomas cook. Our booking is very last minute (due to fly in 10 days). All we received was a rubbish confirmation email that doesn't even state our holiday insurance number (which we have to ammend within 7 days due to health probs) and no flight numbers only times of flights. Due to the fact we booked last minute we have to pick up our tickets on the day at the airport - but the written confirmation will take up to 10 days to arrive which contains the 'real' booking number - given thats when we will be going away and its a 2 day bank holiday weekend this weekend it seems very unlikely we will receive it in time. My question is has anyone else booked this late with thomas cook online? and will the rubbish not very much info email be enough to allow us to pick up our tickets? Any help will be greatly appreciated. thank you x
