hi ive never been to costa brava before but were hoping to go for 4 nights at the beginning of may i want to know which is the nearest resort to the airport only because im a hopeless traveller and can anyone suggest any nice affordable hotels basic but clean .

Hi suez same thing with us we are going next tuesday for 4 days i booked in lioete de mar the hotel metropol sound ok a 4 star and for 129 pounds half board for 3 of us about 20 miniuts from the airport so i will post when i get back sandi
Lloret de Mar is probably the nearest, but Tossa de Mar and Blanes are a similar distance. For hotels, may I suggest the following websites, which have a good selection:

My personal favourite is the Hotel Aquarium. It's clean, cheap, the food's good & it's got a decent sized indoor pool as well as an outdoor one.
