I have booked to go here in August 2006 and am really looking forward to it .... Went to PT at Sarigerme, Turkey last year which was an experience in its itself... It was finished but I was disappointed with my room / balcony and really got eaten alive by the Mossies ( even after applying every remedy known to mankind!! )
Can someone tell me does KOS suffer that much with Mossies and is the heat more bearable than Turkey in August..? ( school holidays limit when I can go... and I love the heat normally... but the constant mid 40's even wore me down last year! )

Can someone also confirm is it a nice area for bike riding?.. stop me going too stir crazy in an AI environment.

I hope the serving bars in the evening are more customer friendly.. queing for ages to get beer out of a plastic glass was not such a rewarding experience in Turkey!

We are two families going and are looking forward to this hols as it is a smaller complex than PT and hopefully the beach will be better as well.

Hope the slides, kids club and facilities are as good as FC tell us they going to be.. we have booked a sea view...
Lost count how many sleeps to go... ha ha
Merry Christmas to all!!!!

brits. You can cycle up to the salt lakes, down the country roads without any problems, people give a wide birth to cyclists I think they must be locals. We found some lovely beaches as well and go-carting. Tigaki is a lovely little town just one main road the people are very friendly. If you go to tigaki as you turn onto the main road off the roundabout the first bar is worth a visit, there you will find Andy he is british but moved out to kos over 20years ago if you want to know anything about the island he will tell you. Also worth a visit is Zia mountain village the views are great from up there. I best stop now i'll drive you all mad can't you tell i am a big fan of Kos.
