Hi Marcus, its an area that is quite built up,when it first existed it was very sleepy hence the name...and there isnt a lot lot to do in the area :..but the town at least gives you somewhere to go at night,a bit of a trek though :!:

There is a fair few little cafes and bars in the Siesta area, so you shouldn't be caught out on that one. It is as previously said quite a sleepy and residential area which is exactly what some are looking for of course.

Depending on how fit you consider yourself you may find the hill into Siesta steep or not, I usually don't really mind it and its a nice little walk into town. For the outskirts of Siesta I would say you are only looking at a 15 minute leisurely walk into Santa Eulalia centre and less than 10 to a very nice beach with beach side bars and resturants.

Hope you have an enjoyable holiday, I know many that stayed in that area that loved it!
