cant recommend hotels , as i have only been to tunisia the once and that was October half term last year , the weather was glorious, people swimming in the sea , sun bathing on the beach , around the pool. We stayed at the marhaba palace PEK, there was no entertainment for children , but in saying that there were only a handful of children there, no slides in the pool , entertainment outside hotels is very low key , i would research hotels , and resorts for what you are looking for .

we have been on four occasions during october half term and always had lovely weather, dark around 6pm but lovely sunny days. not got kids so sorry don't know about that
